some good avenues of communication between you and your SO?

I know it has in my relationship, I post on the boards, he doesn't...but if I see something that interests me or makes me laugh I'll often read it aloud to him, which has led to many interesting conversations together. Through Lit I have learnt many things about my SO sexuality. I have always been outspoken and not in the least shy when discussing sex but he's a bit on the shy side. Since he's seen many of the posters here on Lit be so frank and honest when answering sexual questions he has started to come out of shell.

So has Lit opened up new discussions for you?

It has for me, too. He doesn't post or read things here, but often I tell him about something I read or something that was being discussed here. Then we have some interesting conversations about it. My situation sounds a lot like yours. I can talk at ease about sexuality, he is a bit more reserved. He's come out a lot since the two of us have been together though. Some days, he'll ask me, "so, did you read any thing interesting today on that site?"
So, lit has given me some conversation starters. :)

I think it has helped open him up a little bit.....but my prolblem is that I really want him to be here on lit. Not just on the BB...but reading the stories and participating on the chat too. Any tips from anyone out there on how I can get him more involved with lit? I really think his participation may just melt the resistance I've felt from him about his own exploration, especially if he found something that he'd like to try or experiment with.

Yes and no. We've always been open with each other. Lit just gives us one more thing to talk about. He doesn't post, but I do, and sometimes he'll hear me laughing and ask what's so funny and I'll tell him.

Mine HATES it when I giggle at the stuff I see on here. I guess he feels threatened somehow that someone else can make me laugh, but what he doesn't realise is that it's mostly the women on lit that come up with 90% of the crack-ups that have me on the floor at 2 am giggling so hard!! :D

That Site! Lmao, my guy say's the samething.."Are you on that site again?

As I said he doesn't post here...but has been known to check out the av's on occasion. :)

My SO and I already had a pretty open relationship, so I'd say that it just gives us more to talk about.

That Site!

It's a standard joke with us, the way he says it, sometimes with curiosity, sometimes with shock, and sometimes, he just smiles and rolls his eyes.

My guys exactly the same! But your right it is mostly the women here on Lit that make me laugh.....don't get me wrong a lot of the guys are funny too. Sometimes I'm literally crying because I've read something here that has cracked me up. He always wants why I'm laughing, but he rarely gets the joke if I bother to tell him - we have different senses of humour I suppose. I can't remember the last time he made me laugh.

My wife posts here occasionally. She lurks mostly. I would definitely say it has widened our emotional and sexual horizons. Frankly, it has showed her, that there are women out there as fucking crazy about sex as me:D

This site is the reason that I finally went out to get my OWN computer! I couldn't stop giggling at the wee hours of the morning! And then I'd have to get up at the crack of dawn to go to work. But I found many truely amazing people here on lit to justify my purchase. Sure, there's the occasional moron who thinks that lines like"hey sexxy, you feelin hot tonight" will grab my interest and make me wet  . But it is the women here that make it ~so~ worthwhile. They are truly a bunch of hilarious no-nonsense women....my kinda people! As for this wrecking our relationship, well, I wouldn't go that far. But I have met quite a few people that I wished lived closer to me....if only just to meet for coffee and chat about our mutual experiences here.

Yes, Yes, Yes. Bindii, you're way cool.

For me, (guy) gave me a lot more understanding of what women think about. Lit provides a representative sample doesn't it? Lol. But still, true.

Bindii, yep it has for us, we used to read togethere But my skitten don't have as much time now so we still share what I see or she might as she lurks in the back and reads..........

We find intresting things to do.

We both would read together for about a year and a half . She would post every so often but anymore I am the only one to post, but she still reads and checks things out.

;)

OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are having the time of our lives. THANK YOU LIT! Thank you one and all for all the kinky, I sometimes now feel like I'm tempting fate because it just keeps getting better and better! We are having so much fun.....................THANK YOU!

My "SO" hates the fact that I like this site...I wonder if almost letting it wreck my marriage has something to do with it? ;)

I love Lit, its a great site, spending time here is fun but certainly not worth causing troubles in your marriage for.

So has Lit opened up new discussions for you?

I am a little shy when it comes to certain things, my SO on the other hand is vey vocal and is always asking and telling me if I would like to try new things.

Since I have been reading and posting on Lit. I have learned some new things from others, some sexual things I had never heard of , I am not saying I am a prude or anything along those lines but some things... I have never thought of... :)

Now, I notice I am more vocal with him when it comes to us trying new things, I mentioned some thing to him a while back when I read it off Lit. and asked if I could try it on him. He was surprised I asked and he said no at the start ... but then out of the blue this past week that is all he kept talking about... so yes I have learned some things off Lit. :)

So what was it you want to try on him? Details girl we want details! :)

I don't really have a SO

But my ex-girlfriend is intensely interested in what I'm doing on the site. When she comes over to hang out in the afternoons, one of the first things she asks me is "So what's been going on in Lit?" and then I catch her up on the threads I've been interested in, or read her the entries from the SRPG that are pretty hot. She comes on to read the stories, but she's not into posting or reading the boards (as far as I know). It's a lot of fun to catch her up on my previous night's adventures.

And yes, it's actually a positive thing in our (non)relationship!

I'm only new here but already Literotica has opened up some discussion between us. I'm looking forward to learning a whole lot more too!

No SO at this point but I have found myself discussung some of the threads with others. Sometimes with interesting results.

I guess this qualifies me to go to the addicted to Lit thread.
