After his psychopathic performance at that surreal "press conference" the other night, his bizarre insistence on forcing a vote in the Security Council on a resolution that seems almost sure to be defeated, his insane push for a war no one else seems to want, and his incredibly reckless mismanagement of the economy and the budget, turning huge surpluses into huge deficits almost overnight, and sending a formerly healthy economy plummeting into the sewer, one has to ask.

Just an FYI

Bush didn't destroy the "huge" surplus (there never WAS a "huge surplus"...we STILL had a raging national debt!). The 9/11 attacks took care of that surplus. Economists estimate that in the first hours after 9/11, the only thing left of that "surplus" was the sucking sound the doors made at the Treasury Department.

Have I ever considered leaving? Sure. Will I? Hell, no. Things are just starting to get interesting. Where else would I like to live? Amsterdam is nice. You can walk down the street smoking a hash pipe, and the cops won't bother you.

I love my country. I long ago decided that if Canada ever asked for volunteers for a military campaign, I would volunteer.
