What do you think of it? I admit, it's kinda kept my attention. It's not my favorite show ever, but I do hope that it sticks around for a while.

No one has watched but you. You're welcome :rose:

Story of my life.

It was your comment about watching a zombie flick that made me curious.

You might enjoy the show. It has some interesting twists to it.

And also, you're a twat.

no. i have not. i would ask LTR. she seems to know her zombies.

I've flipped by it- some blonde chick with too much eye shadow. I'm afraid I need the sex and gore that network cannot provide.

Nope, and probably won't But if it becomes popular I'll be watching to see how long it takes for some idiot to start eating brains in hopes of gaining supernatural powers. You know it's going to happen.

Haven't those bath salts already caused some of that?

I see plenty of Zombies in my daily travels. I can't bring myself to watch it, give me a George Romero movie any day.

nope. the girl is cute, but it looks stupid. also, i just don't give a shit about zombies.

You poor thing.

I might. I'll give it a look tomorrow.

You love me anyways.

I've caught not all, but the majority, of the episodes.

1] Seems to me Rob Thomas is trying to do another "Veronica Mars", as the girl even looks & sounds a bit like her. (Why even do the narration thing again, especially after that was Kristen's last TV work, on "Gossip Girl", if I'm recalling right?!)

2] I have a serious problem with a main character named "Major" with no military connection, the same cop every week, a coworker in the morgue that feeds her brains but isn't afraid she'll try for his, etc.

3] The show requires her to be around & in physical contact with dead bodies, but not always solving the murders (on top of what happened with her ex & that same individual cop tonight)?!

I'm watching it - wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do, though I'm getting the Tru Calling vibe from iZombie, except this show has more humor.

I've seen pictures of this series about, but I didn't know the name of it (thanks Internet.)

What's good about it?

It sort of has a Veronica Mars vibe to it, as was mentioned above. There's some humor, a bit of horror, some odd sexual situations. It's not the best show on TV, but it stands out a bit because it's different.

Cool! I've been trying to find it to check it out.

Amazon has it free.

I 've been watching. I like it because it's different. I really, really love the opening credits. That's the part of the show that makes me happiest.

I'm a fan of some other CW shows, like The Vampire Diaries, and especially The 100, which is coming up on a third season. (Seriously, it's way less about teen drama than other CW shows, and focuses more on action and concequence, moral gray areas, the ramifications of choosing between two evils, etc. Watch it.)

I haven't watched iZombie yet, but I intend to try it out. My tumblr crowd seems to enjoy it.

I find it unique and quite clever. :)

Cerebral, dark humour with wit and a smidge of zany zombies.

Rose McIver is a kiwi gal and was in The lovely Bones.

When I think of Liv I see lovetoread. Brainy, a geek girl and a looker. :)

Really?! That may be what I like least about the show (outside of the things I mentioned previously, something that seems to be intentional to set the show apart). I've read about so many shows being based on graphic novels/comic books (or even having one, the way "OC" did "Atomic County" & all that), & often find myself screaming, "Put this in a movie version or something, but get it off of my TV shows!!"

I'm a comic geek, that might be why I really like it and you hate it.

In addition to the fact it keeps straying from its own base.

Was explaining it to a sibling yesterday afternoon who doesn't get the network, & watching her eat the pasta last night (as I have a history of doing Tuesday nights), was waiting for he to start eating the brains, when she started fixing the guy's hair, appearing to have already done it.

Also, show seems to be a bit too "Law & Order"/"CSI"-style for me... Are we about solving the deaths or eating the anatomy of the actually-dead?!

The premise IS that she eats the brains and takes on their characteristics and memories thereby solving the murder.

The opening credits I'm talking about is the graphics and the song. Maybe we aren't talking about the same thing.
