In the Mouth of Madness, directed by John Carpenter and starring Sam Neill.

I've been watching it, and I must have missed the part that explains what the hell is going on. I watched up until he was in the weird town, then I had to cook dinner, and started back up when he finished telling his story to the doc. Now I haven't a clue as to what the author is doing w/ his books.

Anyone?? Please?? It was on tv, so I cannot rewind. This really bites.

That movie was a weird one, yes. I don't remember much about it.. sorry.

I do know it was an awesome renter when i owned the video store.

Sorry i can't be of any help. Maybe look into older movies at your local video store. I'm sure they have it.

Wanna see a Good Scary movie?

In the Mouth of Madness wuz another bad big budget scary movie that year...I think The Prophet, and that other Hell Raiser kind of Magician movie came out around then too and also stunk...You didn't miss anything by cooking...Rent "The Sentinel" if you have only seen it on late night TV if ever at all...Better than the Exorcist I think...1977?

For me, the only important thing to know about that movie was that it ended.

That's why I didn't like it. They never really tell you what's going on for the most part. That kind of story telling works for some movies, but not this one.

Ok...I feel moderately better. Besides, Robin Hood: Men In Tights, is on now. :)

If you want to read up on others thoughts of the movie to try and get an idea of what you may of missed, you can try the IMDB: In the Mouth of Madness Don't know if it'll help you out much, but it's something to check till you can see the flick again.
