I know they go for like three grand right now, but has anyone actually seen one? Ridden one? Talked to anyone who's seen or ridden one? I was talking with a couple of friends and IT came up and we all remarked that, for an invention that was supposed to revolutionize society, it was maybe a wee bit overhyped. Especially when compared to, say, fire. Or the wheel. Or on-line porn.

I haven't seen one. And other than the day they came out I really haven't even heard about them. I think a lot of people were highly pissed when they finally saw what it was.
