Has anyone read....

Pretty well written run-of-the-mill spy thriller loosely based around way too regurgitated legends and myths. I've read better.
Still, good enough as mindless entertainment.

If you're looking for any materpiece in mysticism, look elsewhere. If you're looking for an OK book to read until the next Harry Potter comes out, look no further.

It's good, but not by far living up tp the hype.

Thanks Liar, Must have missed it since I didnt have the book at the time.

I got it for Christmas, I asked hubby for a book of his choosing, and I got it , the one with the pictures! Pictures are so much easier to look at to break up the reading. They also help to explain the story for those of us who have never been to Europe.

I would say concidering I have nothing to compair it to, that this was an awesome book. I dont usually read mysteries or books on religion. The way Mr. Brown put the two together surprised me to no end.

If a book that I read makes me want to know more about a subject to the point of looking for another to read, I class it as a good book, My mom got it too so I cant wait for her to finish it so we can discuss it.

My thirteen yr old has to do a book report for January, instead of doing it on a kids book he wants to read Da Vinci Code, he read the back and the flips when they bought it. Hope he likes it as much as I did.

What Liar said.

Some folks found it riveting. But the more I read, the more bored I got. It's better than a Clive Cussler novel, but not by much. However, I'd recommend any novelist-to-be read it to see how such a mediocre book could become a mega-best seller.
