Has anyone made "Link Thread" work?

I'm curious to know about whether anyone has gotten "Link Thread" to work.

I'm contemplating a scene where the choice (who you're uh, daydreaming about) doesn't have to pull the surrounding plot/scene one direction or another, and wondered if the various daydream alternatives could be linked to one followup thread.

Thanks for the thoughts, but neither of those links seems to go much of anywhere.

And I was asking about Chyoo stories rather than Lit discussion threads, if that's relevant.

I have messed around with it a little, and it does not seem to work. Like the karma rating I think it is a feature that is planned for later. I just wish someone would give us a timetable!

You mean like this?

No, we were talking about the link feature within Chyoo to link a thread to a different part of a story chain.

Thanks anyway.

Something New...

Hey guys and girls,
today I was modifying my story information in Chyoo and I discovered something. If you go to edit your story information and look under the edit 'premissions' section, you'll notice a check box for "allow writers to link threads" Is this why nobody has had the option work? When I look at the summary info for my story it shows a checkmark beside the -Link threads- thing. But if I click edit. It shows the option is not checked.

Any thoughts guys?

Nope

Not as far as I can tell. I have the Link thing enabled and I still get the same error as soon as I try to use it. Maybe a thread with instructions from the person who developed it would be nice!!

:D

Yeah, instructions would be nice. link thread is such a great tool. it would be fantastic if we could get it to work.

btw i also have that option chcked and i myself can't get it to work. If the author of the story can't use it, then it's probably not in the settings. maybe we have to do something first, or maybe the link thread option really isn't up and running yet. either way, it would be nice to have someone tell us exactly what needs doing.
