Has anyone had good luck with a dating site?

Long, long ago, I actually used Match.com back when it was free, and did meet 1 person to date, when I lived in Dallas. I think I was a lot luckier than most guys, though.

What's stopping you (besides a global pandemic) from meeting women in real life?

Actually, the pandemic is doing rather a number on keeping me at home. I'm 56, and have hypertension, diabetes, and heart rhythm issues. To counter these problems, I'm trying to get out and walk more, (out in the open, not malls our crowded areas) and would love to find a walking partner, but none yet.

My wife and I just started trying out polyamory, but we're not being terribly open about it. We're only telling a few people, and the woman I would love to date is waiting on her divorce in another state. (that and for her house to sell) In the meanwhile, I would love to meet someone, for walking and talking, if nothing else.
