Strange bruises?

I have a weird cresent shaped one on the inside of my right forearm. Wasn't there yesterday and I'm just now finding it. I hate it cause it always looks like I'm getting beat on...aww shit theres one on my leg too.

i think the good doctors need to strap you down as tight as they do me! :D

Sure I do, especially if its a good night, but I also wake up with strange people. So I guess that doesn't count.:D

Anyways, my Ex always had bruises on her. She bruised easy and with her pale skin they would look terrible.

My guess is that you probably just bumped into something yesterday and a bruise developed and you didn't notice it until the morning.

I believe there was a whole episode of the X-Files about that phenomenom. :)

You may have an iron deffency. I used to get strange bruises all the time. I had never bruised easily, but for a while, bumping into just about anything would give me a bruise. Turns out my iron was low, and that's why I always got strange bruises. I would go to the doctor and get it checked out. :)

Actually I've been many times to get my iron checked, and they keep saying its ok. I once accidently bumbed my shin bone on a wooden bunk bed as I was walking by it...I had the bruise for over two months.

Thin blood will yield the same results.

I am on a blood therapy program to keep mine thin,,, will bruise with a moderate contact sometimes. Will also bruise when I sleep on my side with a hand on my arm and my head on my hand.

Good indication of thin blood is being cold or at least more cool than most people around you. Next time you are at the doc's office, ask them to run a PT and INR test.

Vitamin K deficiency is the biggest cause of thin blood in most folks. FYI,,, vitamin K is found in leafy greens, including lettuce and spinach.

None of that may not pertain to you,,, but it may, so I tossed it out there.

Of course, it could be that ghosts are running amuck in your bedroom,,,

Must be the thin blood then. I have a Heart problem and I'm not allowed to take asprin because it will thin my blood out even more and cause me to get blood clots in one defective heart valve. So it must be from the thin blood I guess.

gotta be careful Mistress

thin blood may help with one condition but as you are finding out, thin blood has its disadvantages and easy bruising is one of them. being sure not to cut one self is another because of enemia (?) not sure of the spelling.

both my mother-in-law and mother are on blood thinners now.

be cautious and get to a doctor for a professional opinion.
dont take chances. it is always better to be safe than sorry as the saying goes.

Oh, I'm not on blood thinners...my blood is too thin. I was just explaining that is why I can not take asprin, because it would cause problems with my defective heart valve.

I once woke up to find that I'd lost an entire weekend, was in a different part of the country and and everyone was calling me Dave (not my name at all)...?...so the odd bruise isn't much to worry about, but ask your doc the next time your there...you never know what it may uncover.

Maybe you're being abducted by aliens. Maybe you're just having bad dreams that are active. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Sure it wasn't Seinfeld? Between those two shows, they must have everything covered.

OUTSIDER - Dave? Are you serious?
