Has anyone ever used your name to post under?

It just happened to me,and I have to admit it felt wierd.

Seeing your name and av in a place you never posted to.

Seeing words typed out,wrong spellings and all,and knowing it wasnt you?

I know that Tiger meant it only as a joke,but if he had been in a mean kind of mood,he could've posted anything and I would have never noticed it until I came to Lit again.

Does anyone else have to share Lit with their SO/spouse/friend/family member?

Perhaps that would change with the right SO, but to date, that is how I feel.

Well I share this ID with my partner but he rarely posts anything. I can only think of one occasion where he posted without me knowing about it until the next day. It didn't bother me...it's pretty easy to tell the difference between our posting styles. Not to mention he's just nosy and loves to read them all instead of adding his own

OMG, no. There are some things you just don't share. Giving someone your password is like handing them the key to your mind. I don't think I'd ever be able to give someone that kind of power. To pretend to be me, or see a part of me that I wouldn't normally show them... Gawd, no. *shaking my head* It's just not happening.

Draco and I both know each other's passwords. I've accidentally posted as him once when he was new to Lit and I was making some changes to his profile for him. He's also posted under my name once when he'd been checking on a story I had pending. He also knows my ICQ password and my email password. I know his password to his email too. It's not that big a deal to me. I trust him and he trusts me. I've got nothing to hide from him.

Sharing PW's

Well to be honest my so and I know most if not all our pw's. I have nothing to hide from her. Well, except this post. Ssshh. I shouldnt be telling everyone this. She has access to all my emails, lit, and server pw's. Why? Because if something needs to be done on the server, an email from work needs to be checked or sent she needs to have the pw's. So, make sure you dont tell her I told you.

Damn, I just know she will read this thread.

Yes.

For a while I had ppman clone. Couldn't register under exactly the same name but close enough.

At first I was annoyed and left messages where the clone was posting saying it wasn't me.

Then after a while I realised that the clone was a much better poster than myself with some extremely well presented aruguments.

So I just sat back and basked in the reflective glory...
