A marker fetish?

Trinique has the obsessive fetish with having people drawing on her skin with markers. She swears it's not the markers, but the feeling of them being used on her skin....

This is new to us here, anyone else heard of or experienced this???

Seriously folks.

I have never been involved with someone who had such an unusual turnon before...any help would be appreciated.

I like being drawn on. I think its just nice to be touched and manipulated in general.

Love the new av Luna.

True, perhaps there is just something in the way she says it, or obsesses over it...

I always assumed that there has to be a reason, you know? I don't want to draw on her skin...however if it can cause some sexual pleasure mayhap I should try it.

Thanks Marquis...(for the av compliment)

I've done it, and had it done to me.

I wouldn't call it a fetish in my case, but it can be a turn on.

It's a short term way of complimenting the body by turning it into a piece of art. A more tangible explaination would be to compare the marker to the marks left by a whip, a flogger, or sharp fingernails being dragged down a naked body. If you've ever enjoyed those marks, you can understand what it's like to stand in front of a mirror just to look at the words written across your mound, or on a breast, pictures or symbols, reminders of your partner's control. It's painless, but sensual. It's slow and teasing, a creative form of control.

I think the reaction to a "maker fetish" being something unusual is simply due to the audience. It's easily something tame enough to try in a vanilla relationship, but if you get creative it could be integrated into a D/s scene rather effectively. For one, think of the humiliation potential.

Whatever markers you choose though, try them out on your skin just to see how it wears, sweats off, or gets on clothing. I suggest either children's washable markers (wash off before putting on clothes), or permanent markers which will last a few days, and generally don't wear off onto clothing or bedsheets unless they're white.

My previous Master often wrote on me. I was required to keep a permanent marker in the toy box ready for His use. He often gave me tasks that required that I write on myself.

Interesting responses, and all true. I think though, from the way I understood it for her, it wasn't about what was written or drawn, but simply the sensation of it, which neither of us (luna and myself) could quite get a mental handle on. And we were wondering if anyone else had any experience with it.

I thought about it a little more today, and even tried to talk Luna into buying markers earlier when W/we were at the drugstore. :D

I think part of it is also the markings themselves. I think it looks pretty...it feels and looks sensual, and to close your eyes and feel the other person drawing on you, you try to picture in your mind what's being drawn and written and try to feel each letter and picture and see it in your mind. It attacks (in a positive way) your sense of touch and sight. It's a beautiful, amazing feeling. I've tried to talk Luna into doing it, but She doesn't like the idea of marking up my skin like that with ink, and as I've told Her, I think that that in itself is a loving, sweet, sexy thing to say, and I have to respect that. I've suggested other things, like those "clear" markers or "clear" watercolor paints that only show up on special paper, or a paintbrush dipped in water, etc.

Thanks for the responses, everyone. :rose: I'm hoping to get more responses and ideas from other people....

Markers it is definitively a part of control over person and controling one's body :D

I immediately remember the movie "Ostre sledované vlaky" - Closely Watched Trains - (made in 1966, nine years before I born, lol), where is a scene when young railwaymen seducing female co-worker and their foreplay mainly consisting of lifting her skirt higher and higher (and then over  ) and marking the innocent nice skin by railoffice used stamps higher and higher...

Now when I think of, I probably never ever seen better pure control play in any causual or BDSM movie (no, this is not any porno movie) ever.

The bad thing (eg. catch) is, that the ink on the stamps used is pretty permament and mother of the girl (in movie) come next day complain about the marks she saw on her daughter when he wash itself, showing them as "body of the evidence" by lifting the poor girl shirt before the railway officers all the way up :D

Now, that's what I would call "stamp play" - or "marker play" :nana:

Paintbrush loaded with water, paintbrush loaded with just-warm wax...those are very sensual too...

I can see how a felt tip would feel nice, actually.

I really like being drawn on most of the time its not really sexual because i personally just like being touched in general, and when i was young I use to like love when people drew on my back like just with their fingers. Its very soothing for me.

I also see an element of objectification in it. Instead of being used as say furniture, she's being used as a sketch pad. ;)

I like this explanation.

The thought of being drawn on reminds of when your arm or leg is in a plaster cast and everyone leaves their mark on you .

I do like being marked on, be it with teeth, mouth, marker, whatever...I like the idea and feeling of being marked. A mark of posession, sexuality, affection, ownership, etc.

The feeling is also soothing.

But the markings....oooo the markings.

Maybe I should get a tattoo.

This thread made me think of a film I saw some years ago . It was " The Pillow Book " by Peter Greenaway .

The movie tells about a little japanese girl who was written upon by her father , who was an expert calligrapher.
As grown up she becomes a calligrapher herself and she seeks for a lover who could write on her again, so she meets an Englishman who loves to be written upon as well. And then the story goes from the romance to the drama in perfect Greenaway style.
This film is very sensual and elegant and contains the aesthetics of the body writing in the meaning of sexual pleasure. I remember I liked it a lot . :rose:

:)

After much thought

I have decided to allow Trinique to find a clear marker and to buy me some small paint brushes. I still don't want to ink up her skin but I am willing to try and accomodate her (plus the whole objectification idea just turned me on something feirce!!)..

Mayhap I can plan a scene around it. Anyway, once it happens I will have Trini post her responses and thoughts to it...probably in this thread.

I sent D's mariposa a link to this thread because it's something she's actually seen before, sort of. D has used body crayons to draw on her. She was also at the local club party the night there was a scene similar to that. Another couple had some sort of paint and they covered a massage table with plastic and laid out a naked sub and anyone who wanted to come paint on her body was allowed to. The only part off limits was her hair. Hair on her head that is, beings how it was the only hair the woman has.

My dear I have used markers on a Realtime before to show her off as mine. Something I did not truely know until then was that the permenant markers such as Sharpies and El mark, I think that was the name, have chemicals in them and can give those chemicals to your canvas. I have to agree I find it a turn on to draw and mark my sub in what ever way I like. I have done pictures words and combinations.

Amazing, the things you think of as unique and then find all sorts of others into it too!

Dry Erase markers work really well, they wash right off but leave big bold marks.

Luna, if you are getting clear marker, what about trying ultra violet ink? I think that would be way cool, pretty much invisible but when the lights go out and the black light comes on it would be rather striking. If you don't like it, just leave the lights on :)

Thanks for the really great idea. My grrl works at Spencer's I am sure we can find something like that there... ;)

So far ya'll have have been extremely helpful...As always, ya'll rock.

I have more of a thing with paint. My Dom uses me as a canvas about once a week for his watercolors. Its more of a sense of patience and control of the mind. Its about finding a stillness and dicipline.
