Has anyone been watching the UN speeches? They have been exceptional, especially Zelenskyy's

From the straight-talking, non-shouty, in-every-way-superior-to-trump speech by Ukraine's president, I have been fortunate enough to listen to many of the speeches delivered by world-leaders. They have openly supported aid for not only Ukraine but many other countries engaged in/recovering from/preparing for war. They have declared the two-state solution and open recognition of Palestine as a sovereign state in its own right as the only way forward, with Israel and Palestine sharing Jerusalem as their capital... with no room for hamas in any role of leadership, condemning its violence and hateful intentions towards Israel, and stating the facts about genocide, the use of starvation as a weapon, the war crimes of stealing children and more. Indonesia also went as far as to say it stands ready to support ANY country deemed by the UN as in need of help preserving peace with its offer of 20,000 of its sons and daughters as well as financially. In the case of Gaza, having had its first year of surplus rice production, it now is able to send rice to Gaza.

Speeches have been delivered by countries spanning the globe highlighting the dangers Russia under putin is presenting, especially to Europe, with its abuses of recognized airspace over Poland, Moldovia, and others, and awareness of the new technology involved with drones. Ukraine stands ready to share its proven new tech with the world to help countries defend themselves against the russian threat. This new tech has proven itself in real-time warfare. Zelenskyy says it is now the time to create and strengthen strict controls over the use and development of such tech, because it's only a matter of time before some country decides to arm its drones with nuclear warheads.

Nation after nation has condemned Israel and Russia's actions, many including condemnation of the US for its aiding and abetting.

It has been heartwarming to see so many world leaders, leaders of nations, stand up and officially recognize Palestine's standing as a sovereign state.

jesse watters, on the other hand, was opening his mouth again saying the UN has committed insurrection (the escalator/teleprompter) and America should bomb them. Yes, he said that right out in the open on Fox. The person he was speaking with reminded him that the UN building was actually on American soil... which kinda took Watters by surprise.

And, by the way, not a peep from murdoch over watters saying this.

i have been watching highlights as much as possible. trump was bar far the dumbest leader to soil the podium.

the magatards must have whiplash from trump's wavering on backing putin and ukraine

with no room for hamas in any role of leadership,

And there’s the rub…

😑

Hamas is the most "respected" group of Jihadists in the entire Middle East at the moment - they’e similar to Putin in that they have the support of the people despite (because of???) their heinous acts (See also: The common MAGAts’ support for DonOld & the MAGAt republican politicians).

Hamas ain’t going nowhere no time soon (pardon the hillbilly-speak…😉) imho, which means no ceasefire and no peace.

🤬

maybe now is the time the UN will get more behind the separatist leader of Yemen, who sees no place for hamas or the houthis

South Yemen would join Abraham Accords, says separatist leader Aidaros al-Zubaidi

President of the Southern Transitional Council Aidaros al-Zubaidi told UAE state media that he supports a two state solution between both Israel and Palestine, and in Yemen.

President Trump and Zelenskyy gave terrific speeches. The gathering also resulted in Brett Baier of Fox News scoring some illuminating interviews about the Ukraine war with Zelenskyy and Finland president Stubb. Zelenskyy of course is well known to most Americans who follow the situation in Europe but Stubb is less well known.

I highly recommend watching the video of Stubb’s interview with Baier. His country shares an 800 mile border with Russia so he knows a thing or two about Putin. He’s a smart guy, a realist, and a leader with strong diplomatic skills.

Netanyahu’s speech was streamed live to cell phones in Gaza. He delivered an ultimatum to Hamas. Lay down your arms and let all 48 hostages go now or Israel will hunt you down and kill you.

Netanyahu will not stop until every single child in Gaza is dead from starvation.

The UN is no longer a forum for free negotiation and debate. It has been captured by totalitarian states to pursue their own agendas.

“It has been captured by totalitarian states” AND those states beholding to those totalitarian states…

😳 😑 🤬

Also:

@butters video of Zelenskyy could be seen as being in favor of / supporting what Israel is doing in Gaza (ironic):

Israel was viciously attacked on 10/7 (and MANY times before), and the ONLY reason Israel still exists is because of their weapons and their willingness to use them in their defense while ignoring the dubious geopolitical machinations of the UN that masquerade as "reasonable" appeals for "a just peace" (in Gaza and elsewhere).

If you support Ukraine, then you should support Israel (imho); full stop.

Just sayin’…
