Has anybody ever used this?

Exactly! It says "head to toe coverage," and I'm seriously craving something that will keep me from ever worrying about nicks and burn in *ahem* delicate places ever again. It sounds too good to be true, and from what I know of Igia (their Stop n Spray stuff is definitely panacea), it's not likely to be true.

There's no way at $49.99 this thing works so well. Electrolysis can cost thousands of dollars.

There's no technical reason why it shouldn't work. Professionl Electrolysis cost so much because you're paying someone else to operate industrial grade equipment that has to continue to work through thousands of customers.

This device doesn't need the durability, becuse it's probsbly only warranted for year and intended for no more than a handful of "patients."

I suggest an online search for consumer reviews and/or complaints. Igia does seem to scream "sucker!" at me every time one of their commercials come on, so I've never tried any of their products.

Try Epinions.com

I used something similar once, an at home electrolysis machine. All I can say is it hurt like hell and I never used it again, but good luck!

The "Forever Gone" product isn't reviewed but you may be interetsed in the reviews (116 of them..) of Igia's other products at "URateIt.com". It isn't pretty... There are apparently several Class Action lawsuits against this company.

Epinions.com doesn't have any reviews on the "Forever Gone" either ut their reviews of the Epil-Stop product match URateIt's:

Yeesh, that's grim. (Though I really liked the review titled "Epil Stop drop and roll") I used that stuff and had no burning problems, but it was highly ineffective and smelled icky and was a waste of this poor college student's (parent's) hard-earned cash. Damn...so much for my cheap-n-easy solution. Thanks for the info, ma_guy!

So any other miracle hair removal products out there?

I'm considering laser hair removal. You know, after I win the lottery and all.

Damn, I'm sad to hear that it's useless. I saw this item a few months back and seriously wanted to try it, but I forgot what the name of it was. I hate the currently available methods of hair removal because I am plagued by ingrown hairs. I have to be ever vigilant to keep them at bay, and this sounded like it might just be perfect.

I wonder, Emerald_eyed, can you give us an idea of what the discomfort factor is with the device? I'm thinking that even if it doesn't work for hair removal, it might be useful as an electro-play device in the BDSM sense. Hmm....
