I'm stunned... a TV series that actually tries to get the tech right (not completely right but still lightyears ahead of the competition).

What is the world coming to??!!

Next we'll have the Supreme Court approving gay marriage.

Oh wait...

PS - Check it out if you get the chance. It's truly worth it.

It's one of the best TV shows I've seen in years. It's nice seeing Christian Slater again, and the guy from Twilight plays his part incredibly well.

I watched the first episode last night. I am a techno-geek so most of the technology references made perfect sense to me. While there were still flaws in their logic, these more true to life references made the show much more fun to watch.

Let's hope this show doesn't go to the television dark side by dumbing down the content or explaining every little thing so that "anyone" can watch it. I just hate shows with fake technology, wild technological leaps of faith, or where they stop to explain every little joke to make sure everyone watching gets it.

That being said, this actually relates to my story writing. In many of my stories I get plenty of comments telling me that all of the characters suck and nobody wins. I also get a few comments from a few people that absolutely get the overall idea I was trying to convey.

At times I've thought about the often debated concept of writing to the average Lit reader in order to get the best possible score or only positive comments. I just can't do that. I write the stories I want to write and if at least some of the readers "get it" I am happy.

Lets hope that the producers of Mr Robot are happy with the following they have that "gets it".

I watched the first episode last night and LOVED it. For a USA show, it had some grit, and I love a show that doesn't dumb things down for me. I am not at all tech savvy, and I love shows that don't pander. The acting was fantastic, and I loved seeing Christian Slater in that kind of role. Can't wait to watch more. It almost looked like a BBC show to me, with the production style and lighting. It wouldn't be a bad example to follow.
