Harry Potter *bounces*

*bounces excitedly* Just 15 more hours or so until I can go to walmart at midnight and get the next Harry Potter book and come home and read alllll night. I even took tomorrow off so I can read alllll day.

I'm such a geek

Who else is a HP fan?

I've had my copy on pre-order for two months now! Got it for 40% off that way!
I can't wait to read it. I can't decide if I want to build the anticipation a little more and re-read the series before reading the new one or just dive right in. Who am I kidding.....I won't be able to wait!! :)

I wish there was CC in movies too in the US since when there is a lot of noises or voices at once or long big words  I seem to loose my English. I always use CC when watching TV or movies at home.

I am waiting for the French version of Harry Potter so still a while to go *sigh* 1st of October

I think it would be great if they put CC on movies in the US, but I know it would bug the heck out of K. But my hearing isn't so great, and their's some people I just cannot hear! I don't even bother going to movie theathers anymore. Between the seats being too tall, and tons of food I can't have, and not hearing I just end up ticked and in a bad mood.

It bugs a lot of people; my brother can't stand it, so when he comes home he is always shutting the CC off on the TV, which pisses me off.

At some of the CC theatres from what I understand there is a window of sorts that you can sit behind and the CC is projected on to that, so you can either watch it with CC or without. Wouldn't be very helpful for going to the movies with a partner that doesn't like it and you do LOL.

I'm re-reading #5, but I re-read it not that long ago so as soon as I get the new one, #5 will go back on my shelf for awhile LOL.

It's amazing how many times I can re-read those books and still be hooked and unable to put it down every time.

I read it without re-reading the previous ones. When I'm finished, there will probably have been some little things that I didn't catch/didn't get, so I will read the first 5 again. When I'm done my sis and my dad are done with the 6th so I can have it back to read it again. That way I don't need to wait now and still have everything up to date in time for my second reading.

I wonder if this year will be like last. There were plenty of books at Walmart for everyone that was there waiting, especially since they limited it to two each, but there were still tons of adults pushing kids out of the way and generally acting like complete fucking idiots.

There was one father there that got an empty cart and was shoving people out of the way with it to get to the stack of books once they uncovered it, and nearly knocked down this little kid who's mom allowed her to go and get the book herself. Then there was the lady that actually grabbed a book out of another kids' hand, telling her to "let the adults go first honey". I was floored...can't believe people would act like that, especially when there was zero reason to as there were plenty of books to go around.

Some people are just unbelievable! It's a children's book, so I would figure kids get the first grab, even if some adults would have to wait. Waiting is so much worse when you're a kid.
Here I don't think it is that bad. Many do prenotations. And then it's less stressed because when the book gets released first, it's the English one which not everyone can or wants to read. Some do though, so we have 2 dates of release, making it easier.

And where was this childs mother? Some lady did that to my kid, and I'd rip her a new asshole.

Both parents of those kids were kind of standing back a bit, watching them but not right up there WITH them. Both were like 9 years old or something. I think everyone was a bit shocked that anyone could be acting that ridiculous, and the kids were insistant that they wanted to go and pick out a book *themselves* and not have mom and dad do it for them. I didn't see if the parents reacted, but the lady behind me in the checkout was ranting about it.

See, I can see letting the kid go get the book themselves. I'd have let my chidl do that too. But if someone had taken a book right out of their hands, or nearly mowed them over with a cart, I'd have raised holy living hell. I probably would have got kicked out of the store. Nobody fucks with my kids.

I'd probably react the same...heck, I wanted to mow that guy over with MY cart and it wasn't even my kid.

I'm still waiting for Snape to spank Hermione to her first orgasm!

There was a mention by Harry of thinking he was going to get caned in book #5 and ever since I've toyed with the idea of writing a fanfic based on that comment LOL

Errr, I found Johnny Depp hot when I was 12 and was addicted to 21 Jump Street and Cry Baby. I want to see it for the movie, not for some...guy. *wrinkles nose*

I've loved Johnny Depp since What's Eating Gilbert Grape. This movie could be him swimming in the chocolate river for and hour and a half wearing the top hat and I would still pay to see it haha

That's sick. Johnny Depp is . . . well even when the movie sucks you can just mute it and perv on him. *sigh*

Especially in Pirates of the Caribbean. :D

Yeah, well, if he was a girl I might agree haha

Ok, i'm a bit confused. You found him hot when you were 12, but now you don't find men hot at all?

I figured you were just bi, and happened to be with a mistress right now.

If it's not my business, just say so. I know I'm being nosy.

I don't know many 12 year olds that are sure about their sexual identity LOL. When I was 12, I thought he was hot. It's been about 6 years since I found a man attractive physically, I slowly lost interest in men at all.

I'm not really big on labels, I'll more often say I'm bi than I'm lesbian because while I very much prefer women, I'll play sexually with men, but usually only if there is another woman involved. So I'm not really sure how to "label" that *shrugs* If I say I'm lesbian and then talk about how a guy fucked me for D's pleasure or talk about how I enjoy being forced to suck a man, people get up in arms and say I'm not really a lesbian if I enjoy pleasuring men or being used by men. If I say I'm bi, most people assume I'd readily have a sexual relationship with either men or women, which isn't true. I certainly can't claim to be straight.

At any rate, no longer find Depp hot, and the only reason I really liked him when I was 12 was because he was a "bad boy actor". I loved 21 Jump Street because he got slapped and lectured in one episode. LOL
