It’s up to her to come out and tell us who she really is (pssst…we know, we’ve watched her for upwards of twelve yrs now), but you know as well as I, she’ll do NO substantive interviews because all the outlets her handlers will let her go on are there to protect her and help her move the ball. The alphabet soup of “State Run Media” outlets will never attempt to make her look bad.

The dirty little secret is they tried to protect Hillary in the same manner…didn’t work for her as the more she talked, the more people disliked her, internal polling showed. Biden was hidden away that summer, and miraculously, 81 million people voted for him so it worked in that instance. Hmmm…the president who should be chiseled into Mt. Rushmore according to Nanny P, just defenestrated like that…

Increasing the tax percentage and/or lifting the contribution cap may not be feasible under the law as written. Ditto for raising the retirement age. (which is a really stupid way to "solve" the problem because eventually you'll raise the age to 150 years and no one will be able to claim benefits and everyone will see the "solution" as nothing more than the scam it really is.)

Soc Sec needs a comprehensive review with an eye toward rewriting it entirely if necessary.

The ultra conservative idea of chucking it is flat out stupid. What that would do is throw everyone who is receiving benefits, or has paid into the system already in expectation of getting benefits, to the wolves. If the current beneficiaries continue to get benefits, but those who still have to contribute won't, then everyone will refuse to be a part of it because it'll be nothing more than yet another scam on the taxpayers.

I believe the reduced/low benefits and solvency problems can be fixed but it's going to take something more creative than empty campaign promises or partisan meddling. THE problem is funds and how to maintain solvency. I'm thinking the funds part is easy - reduce or eliminate foreign aid and send that money into the SS trust fund for a few years. Safety and solvency starts at home, not overseas.
