This thread is for every Harley nut out there. Enjoy. For those of us in Michigan this may be one of the last few days to ride. So before I get on my bike, please tell me about the best ride of your life. If I'm lucky maybe the riding stories will get me through the winter without trying to ride circles in the garage, with the heat on.

Hey there! I am a Harley owner and just took my first ride on MY bike yesterday...it started out as a ride from hell, but ended very nice. I have ridden bitch for many, many years, and decided that I wanted my own, so I could go when I want, not wait on someone to take me! I love it. There is nothing like getting on and letting the wind blow the cobwebs from your head! My ride yesterday was the best ever! I don't think any explanation is needed for that.

Have had some very fun rides when riding bitch tho. Once my ex, me and my best friend all rode about 15 miles, in the rain, at night on a sportster...nice snug fit. But lots of fun!!!

Will have to think about some of the other runs and rides and post more later. Good idea Superfitter! Had thought of doing something similar.

A friend in the wind in Ohio!

I don't own one but I know someone who does and he is the sexiest man I know....:D I love looking at them and wish I could ride...

was a warm(for Oct) and sunny day here in Connecticut....I had a nice ride and will stay in the saddle to early Dec if the snow holds off---and my tires last! Ride Safe!

Well I'm glad to hear you got your first bike. What kind of bike did you get. I drive a 2003 Road King Classic myself. I've been lucky enough to stay on for the last few days with the weather cooperating hear in Michigan. The other night we took a ride up to Bay City, the weather counldn't have been more bueatiful for a ride over the Zilwaukee bridge. Just three iron horses poundin the pavement. I think I may even get back on the bike tonight yet. hehe

I bought a Sportster...was an 883 but has a 1200 kit in it, a bigger tank & drag pipes. Sits pretty low, looks pretty good, sounds better, and the BEST is I am in the wind!!! I have been saving and wanted to get something bigger, but this one came up for sale and I had the $ and was tired of waiting, so I bought it. Wasn't sure I would even like riding by myself, since I am used to riding bitch, but it was a freaking thrill a min...think I will hang on to this for a year or 2, then trade up. Was a great day for riding yesterday here too, but had a hog roast to go to and too much shit to take on the bikes.

I don't plan on putting it away for awhile...just have to dig the long johns out for under the leather. I keep hoping we have weather like 5 years ago, was out building fence in a short sleeved t-shirt the day after Thanksgiving. And December was just as good...course in Jan it got icy and was as cold as a witch's tit....gotta take the bad with the good...

*edited for shitty spelling lol
