In the tower with Vivica
"Nah, it's fine; they only wander off if I let myself get distracted." He stopped in-front of a sturdy-looking door part way up the tower, opening it he was greeted with the sight of a wide-open room that, while it lacked furniture aside from a solitary large table in the middle of the room, had more than enough space for his work.
"Ah, now this is perfect! Plenty of room, nice ventilation from the windows there and a sturdy door, although it could probably do with a few more locks. Bah, sort that out later. Vivica, would you mind opening that bag next to you and putting the books in it on the table while I sort some of my other stuff out? Don't worry about sorting them, I'll do that later."
As he spoke, he set one of the bags on the floor near him and levitated out, of all things, a large closet. Each of the bags led to an extra-dimensional space, meaning that they were all larger inside then they were out. Setting the closet against one wall, he opened it and walked in, revealing that it too led to an extra-dimensional space, and started carrying various pieces of equipment out, some of it a confusing tangle of machinery that he was setting against another wall.
