Yeah, those Canadians have the weirdest holidays. Don't they know that the cool kids celebrate Thanksgiving in november? I mean, duh!

Wishing a happy Turkey Day to all those Americans out there! I know I'm looking forward to eating out that delicious chick. :D

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. It's when I get to let out my inner glutton and no one gives me dirty looks.

I wish everyone a happy and enjoyable Thanksgiving. Hope you all have many things to be thankful for.

God bless! :rose:

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Take a few seconds and thank the troops who are serving so that we can sit and relax.

My thanks to our Men and Women of the Armed Forced, that are temporarily giving up sitting down with their own families and friends to help protect our country and ourselves.

Return home safe and soon. :rose:

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious, and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music, and anything else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up, and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot, and the parrot got more angry and more rude. John, in desperation, threw up his hands, grabbed the bird, and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes, the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said to John, 'I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior.'

John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. Just as he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued…

'May I ask what the turkey did?'

Too cute Nala.

I have plenty to be thankful for, and spent the entire holiday with those who give me reason to be.
Happy Day after Turkey Day (I was too busy cooking and eating during the day of.. and then the kids left for the entire weekend, and I was being kept busy with .. other 'stuff'. ).

Hope your's (and everyone elses' who may be reading) was a good one, too. ;)

bholderman: That is the cutest turkey joke I have ever heard .

(and it reminds me of a very naughty bird that Master surprised me with upon my arrival home from the hospital last December... The bird never said a foul word at all, but decided it 'liked me best' and humped and slimed my hand. The bird became insistant that I was it's mate. It's attitude was horrible. It tried to bite small children as they walked by. In a fit of jealousy, it bit me on the thigh one time while I was talking on the phone with IYM .. who was in the hospital because the bird bit HIM too... that bird should have been given the fate of that turkey .. if it wasn't so friggin cute as all hell... and smart. It knew so many words and phrases and tricks. We certainly had a love hate relationship going on between us. )

Thanks for the good chuckle bholderman. :rose:
