I came home just for today, literally. Flew in last night, T-day with my family and some assorted peeps (one of whom has promised to wear his kilt!) and then flying back to the US tomorrow.

We had

Turkey, mashed potatoes, aubergines (eggplant) lasagna, cucumbers, peas (with carrots and cauliflower), salad, melted cheese, bread and for dessert icecream, apple pie, apple crisp and chocolate cake.

And we celebrated on Sunday

And the gods blessed montreal with a wonderful sunny weekend.

Bah! Have to work today. Got Sunday off though (it's a day I work on my current schedule) so I still got 3 days off in a row.

Didn't have a traditional dinner either, unless you count an East Indian buffet as traditional.
