The United States Holocaust Museum in Washington DC has labored mightily to recover from the crass commercialization of the institution back in the late 1990s under the misleadership of BrightShinyGirl's favorite Jewish grifter. failed Hollywood producer "Doctor" Stanley Berkenbaum.
Since 2018, the Museum has featured a thoroughly depressing exhibit entitled "American response to the Holocaust" which takes America to task for conveniently sweeping any concentration camp issues under the proverbial rug whilst World War 2 raged on. It seems President Franklin Roosevelt shared the same disdain that genocidal Israeli strongman Benjamin Netanyahu has for negotiating the release of Jewish captives.
This exhibit, naturally, runs afoul of a key Trump objective: whitewashing American history.
So the exhibit will "temporarily close" in a few days for a "content refresh". This "refresh" is set to reopen on March 30th, 2026, neatly coinciding with the start of the 2026 midterm elections. What a conincidence.
The working title of the refreshed exhibit will be something akin to "Happy Talk 'Bout teh Holocaust".
Gone:
1) Albert Einstein's personal appeal to President Roosevelt to allow the immigration of 1000 German scientists into
America in the run-up to World War 2, remarking how he made a similar appeal to the President of Turkey with great success.
2) The response from the highly antisemitic blue bloods at the US Department of State, who torpedoed Einstein's efforts. These diplomats did everything in their power to prevent Jewish professors of world renown from obtaining employment at their beloved Ivy League institutions, and worked had to keep the legendary "Jewish quotas" of students and faculties in the Ivy League active until well after World War 2.
New:
Video clips from Band Of Brothers showing how much the American Army worked to single handedly (without ANY assistance from the United Nations!) help the poor defenseless Jews.
Granted, the UN did not exist until well after the conclusion of WW2, but hey, you might recall Trump's story of General George Washington capturing the British airports at Valley Forge....it's not "false" if you really Really REALLY want to believe something (see also: famine in Gaza).
Oh, and the Holocaust Museum marketing agreements with various kitschy souvenir manufactures (Holocaust-themed Jewish prayer books, DVDs, charm bracelets, votive candles, etc) all had their Berkenbaum 25 year exclusive licenses lapse in 2023, these agreements must be renewed per Trump in order for the Holocaust museum to pay their own way).
