I truly wish for everyone to have a happy new year. @003 is filled with so much potential, we should be able to do a better job of it than 2002.

I want to pass on friendship. In this world of lies and deceit, it is good to know that there are true friends out there who love and care for you, and will stop at nothing to see that harm does not come to you.

I am thankful for adults acting like adults. I've seen it far too often, adults being bitter and childish, throwing tantrums and behaving far worse than any 6 year old could ever hope to achieve. This new year, I hope people grow up, both in body and mind.

The naked truth, my final hope. Does anyone know where the term naked truth came from? It is an old story a long time ago. You see, truth and deceit were at a river, and they both got naked to go swimming. Now, deceit got out before truth, and she put on truth's clothes. This explains why lies are usually covered with truth. Now, when truth came out, she was too proud to wear deceit's clothing, so she went out in the world naked... The naked truth.
I hope the truth comes out, sooner or later. Despite its hardships, it is far better than any lie.

To poo in particular.. liked the story. First time I'd heard it and will remember it I assure you.

I hope we all watch the news and see how many of America's Constitutionally guaranteed rights are being ignored or vanishing.. No being held without charges, public trials, no illegal search and seizure, protection from domestic spying on the citizens are just a few of many that are vanishing.

To quote Benjamin Franklin, "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." circa 1755

It's our country. Watch and remember as election year gets closer and closer.
