Umm...Er...Gee shucks thanks Merlin, Slut-boy and Chef

Like Chef said we have done our Mothers day thing, but this is how the day went for me.

Mum and Dad left to go on holiday, So Mum cried (thought I wouldn't miss her), my son (god bless the little devil) gave me my present and card like 1001 times during the day, with a hug and a kiss everytime (although by bedtime I was ready to kill him). My sister came down and practically let me run myself off my feet looking after HER Daughter, (Many yelling sessions and tears (from the kids) later) she left in a bad mood).

The Man lives all the way over there but still managed to let me know how loved and wanted I am (what with the time differences) so Thank-you and Biggggggg Hugggggggg for him. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones that is always told.

And now here we are with Merlin, Slut_boy and Chef letting us know the same thing

To all of the women in my life and all of the women on the BB. To all the mothers, daughters, sister, wives, girlfriends, females all:

You are greatly appreciated every day. We men admire you, are thankful for you and probably never tell you often enough how much you mean to us...

Life wouldn't be the same without you!

Have a wonderful day!!

Thank you Merlin! You're the first one to say Happy Mothers Day today! Hugs for you for starting this thread.

That is very kind of you...I had hoped to sleep in for Mother's Day, but my daughter thought 6 a.m. was a perfect time to shove presents in my face...LOL...isn't she sweet? I got a locket to put her picture in (I've NEVER had a locket before) some cute candles, a bookmark, a book about mothers and daughters, some postcards...wow!!! I can see why my mom was so distraught when they came home from the store...she tried to buy out the place for me. Gotta love the little ones.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Hey Merlin, that was such a cool post. May I join you and wish all the mums on the BB a great day.

Thanks, Merlin. I'm not a "real" mom, but I am a sister, daughter, aunt, friend. Most of us know we are appreciated, but we don't get tired of hearing it once and awhile.

Thank you Slut_boy..

When I think of what all of the women in life have taught me...my sisters (4 of them), my mother, female friends, girlfriends (past & present), all of the women on here...I feel I have been very lucky and blessed by their love and friendship...You know that old saying, "behind every great man there is a great woman,", I think it should really read, "BESIDE every great man..... or maybe in front of".

I find relationships with women fascinating..I can be so much the typical male at times, and yet the women who truly love me as their brother, significant other, friend, son...will just look at me, roll their eyes and smile.....

For me, women are the softness, the playfullness, the joy, and such great teachers of life... And since I've been on this BB, I've met a whole new group of women that I've enjoyed very much....

And then there's our Madam, Laurel (who has yet to acknowledge one of my cute/smart ass comments on here
biggrin.gif
) who has given us this wondeful site (you too, Manu), someone that I find extremely well read despite the time and headaches I'm sure this site requires from her....Truly, Laurel, I find some of your posts very informative (who needs a newspaper) and wonder how you have the time to be so well informed..<course, you probablly don't sleep to much)..

Alright, I know, to much rambling on......<the sorcerer goes back to his cave>

And a daisy. The dogs got me a new blanket and the horses got me new riding equipment...go figure.

Happy Mother's Day, gals (and men who play mum). I know I'm glad I only have one!

was it mother's day in the UK?? I think that was some weeks ago ... mind you every day is Mother's Day in this house - just ask her!
Wel just in case ... kneels, bows, kisses feet of all the mums on the BB (don't all get too excited ...)

and spends quiet moment thinking of own mum who died over 20 yearsd ago ... not that a day goes by without me thinking of her.

Hey MM that way nice to do that for the lady's I myself have had a few call today wishing me Happy Mothers day......Go figure

Well MM thank you...some of you know that I dislike Mother's Day as my own Mom died a few days before Mother's Day 1990...but it feels good to be wished a happy one, especially by one as cute as you...My little guy gave me a wonderful picture he drew of a heart(not a heart shape an anatomical looking one and he dictated a love letter to Dionysus, because my adorable son wants to marry me when he grows up)...I love being his Mommy!! Happy Day to all, kisses from a happy Deity

hey just wanted to say to all HAPPY MOMMY'S DAY!!! Hope your day was full of love and misadventure too. Have fun ladies.

Oh thank you MM and all,

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. The best so far. My girls made me cards, by bf bought me Dunkin donuts for breakfast and some flowers for our yard. They were beautiful.

The best part was when I went to bed. My bf set the scene and we had awesome lovemaking.

Hope you all were treated as well as I was.
