I know it's early, and none of them are up yet, over there, but just wanted to wish

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

to our Stateside moms.

Thank you! :)

Hope all the Moms and all the Mr. Moms have a terrific day!

Mr. Moms? is this a new PC childrens book?

Mothers Day here too (Portugal), also coincides with the celebration of Fatima miracle. Quite moving TV last night (even for an only vague Christian) of tens of thousands of candles in the square in front of Fatima Church.

And we're just getting up in the US.

Flowers and chocolates and yummy bath stuff. Sweet card from the kids and a naughty one from hubby. And I'm working on my second cup of coffee.

Life is good.

Happy Mother's Day, all!

I received a flowerpot that spidey made at school. It has his picture on it, and says "I love you, Mom" on one side, and "Mom, I know you are so sweet" on the other. It even has real flowers planted in it.

Best gift ever. :)

To all of you who sacrifice so much every day, who wake up at three a.m. for a hug to chase the nightmare away or to quench the inconvenient thirst with a barely sipped-at glass of water. Who kiss skinned knees and bumped heads. Who hold your temper when a mysterious force breaks a lamp and no one in the household knows how the baseball ended up in the middle of the wreckage. Who discovered how slow they could move in their eighth month while trying to cope in the August heat and how fast they could move when the three year old reached for the frying pan full of hot grease.

Happy Mother's Day!
