Well you know, in the spirit of the holiday season and for the edification of the board's leftists:

Happy Kwanzaa, the Holiday Brought to You By the FBI
Ann Coulter|Posted: Dec 29, 2021 10:34 AM

It seems like all I hear these days is how liberals are red-hot for teaching history, while retrograde troglodytes on the right are demanding that we suppress the teaching of history by banning critical race theory (CRT). Haranguing students, day in day out, about their white privilege is just teaching history. On this beloved Kwanzaa week, here's some history for you.

Celebrated exclusively by white liberals, Kwanzaa is a fake holiday invented in 1966 by black radical/FBI stooge Ron Karenga -- aka Dr. Maulana Karenga, founder of United Slaves, the violent nationalist rival to the Black Panthers. Liberals have become so mesmerized by multicultural gibberish that they have forgotten the real history of Kwanzaa and Karenga's United Slaves. Kwanzaa emerged not from Africa, but from the FBI's COINTELPRO.

In what was ultimately a foolish gambit, during the madness of the '60s, the FBI encouraged the most extreme black nationalist organizations in order to discredit and split the left. The more preposterous the group, the better. (It's the same function Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez serves today.) By that criterion, Karenga's United Slaves was perfect.

Despite modern perceptions that blend all the black activists of the '60s, the Black Panthers did not hate whites. Although some of their most high-profile leaders were drug dealers and murderers, they did not seek armed revolution.

No, those were the precepts of Karenga's United Slaves. The United Slaves were proto-fascists, walking around in dashikis, gunning down Black Panthers and adopting invented "African" names. (I will not be shooting any Black Panthers this week because I am Kwanzaa-reform, and we are not that observant.)

Day drinkers always fuck up that titles. How the fuck can you be so stupid that you copy and paste yet still spell it wrong?

There is no such thing as a "fake" holiday. People make up holidays all the time. Christmas isn't the actual day that "Jesus" was born. The closest we have to a true holiday are those that are natural, like the equinox...as ithey are marked by astronomical phenomenon.

"Astronomical," please.

I don't think there is any actual historical documentation of that. It should be classed with the idea that Hoover intentionally flooded black neighborhoods with drugs to destroy the economic power base of the Black Panthers (as shown in the 1995 film Panther) -- the sort of thing the motherfucking racist psycho might have done, but let's see some proof.

You mean none that you've had the energy to investigate. You always make these idiotic flat statements without evidence.

Anyway, who cares? The existence of Kwanzaa, which hardly anybody celebrates, has never been an even marginally plausible element of any War on Christmas.

Kawanzaa was meant to divide the races:

ā€œOn Dec. 24, 1971, the New York Times ran one of the first of many articles on a new holiday designed to foster unity among African-Americans. The holiday, called Kwanzaa, was applauded by a certain 16-year-old minister who explained that the feast would perform the valuable service of ā€˜de-whitizing’ Christmas. The minister was a nobody at the time but he would later go on to become perhaps the premier race-baiter of the 20th century. His name was Al Sharpton.ā€

Note he makes up his own words.

Karenga, the fraud. In 1978 he told the Washington Post’s Hollie West:

ā€œI created Kwanzaa,ā€ laughed Ron Karenga like a teenager who’s just divulged a deeply held, precious secret. ā€œPeople think it’s African. But it’s not. I wanted to give black people a holiday of their own. So I came up with Kwanzaa. I said it was African because you know black people in this country wouldn’t celebrate it if they knew it was American. Also, I put it around Christmas because I knew that’s when a lot of bloods (blacks) would be partying!ā€

:rolleyes::D

If you know of such historical documentation, post it. The article linked in the OP contains none.

Again, so what? However some black nationalists might have conceived it, the existence of Kwanzaa has had no social impact to speak of.

And Al Sharpton is a better man than you.

Al is a dumb uneducated sum bitch, a liar, and a criminal. I am educated, I have a clean police record, I'm a respected citizen, and sought after professional in my field of endeavor. Al can hardly put a coherent sentence together.

No social impact? Here's a glowing article by the Communist News Network:

Well, there's no perceptible harm in those "seven principles," regardless of whether they really have any roots in African cultures.

Holidays mean whatever they do to whoever celebrates them. If you don't like the holiday, then don't celebrate it There is no "official holiday" chart.

I don't expect you to be able to grasp this, KlanGuide, but I'm no more a fan of left-wing revisionist history than right-wing. I have heard from friends' kids that they learned in school, Kwanzaa was invented by slaves who wanted their own Christmas celebration without celebrating the same holiday their masters did, etc. And I politely explained that no, it was invented in the 1960s by a criminal.

But if it has meaning to those who observe it, what's objectionable about the holiday itself? I had mixed feelings when I saw the Bidens observing it in the White House, but hey, if it pisses off the bigots, I'm all for it.

Yep ..if it pisses the bigots off...šŸ‘
