When I was 18, I had a good friend from Belgium - J. We'd been penpals for years and years, and she even came to visit me for a week once. We got along so well, but we lost contact.

Today, when I come home from a little shopping trip with M, I have a message waiting for me at Messenger: "J wants to add you to her Friend List". I accepted it immediately, she saw that I was online, logged on herself, and then we did the cyber equivalent of Beverly Hills teenagers holding each other hands and jumping up and down, shrieking with joy. We babbled for almost 2 hours - we had so much catching up to do!!!

I'm so happy. She's like a long lost sister.

Awwww!!! Yay you! ! :cathappy:

I have a friend I miss like that... here's hoping some day we'll find each other, too!

Apparently, she looked up my name on Google. There are MANY women in Sweden with the same name as me.

For some mysterious reason, most of them seem to have something to do with religious work.

Have to ask J if she found me by typing in "name surname" +"antichrist"...

That Internet fad is kinda swell after all.
