As a father myself... this makes me pleasantly sad, to think that some day my own daughter will be thinking these thoughts.

Before the day is out, I think I'll try to write something myself... something that I can put away for her to read when she is grown, before or after the time comes for me to leave her completely. Thanks, Cloudy, for the idea and motivation.

For now, though... it's a happy day. It's a good day to be a dad!
