To all the Dads out there... Relax, put your feet up, and eat and drink to your hearts' content.

Have a wonderful day, you all deserve it!

Dads are special. :)

Lou   :rose:

Yup, hugs and kisses to all the Daddy's and Daddy's to be out there!

*hugs and kisses, kisses and hugs*

I hate being a forriner. We celebrate Father's Day in November.

But kudos to dads worldwide anyway.

a virtual remote to all the papa's out there

here's hoping you are appreciated this day.
if you don't feel like you are by your family, just know that you are by your sicko family here on the AH.
HAPPY PAPA'S DAY!

Went to see mine yesterday, long drive, but worth it to see his smile, and feel his hug. 85 years young this year, and he's adorable.

Happy Dad's day, pops. Love ya loads and loads.

I will wish my father a Happy Father's Day.

But more out of habit than actual emotion. He did try, as well as he knew, to raise me properly. Unfortunately he didn't know much and instead fucked me up badly.

Actually, we wait in fear for the phone to ring, and a twenty something voice asking, "Did you know a Mary Cline, in college?"

I must be a dope, but I had no idea that Father's Day was international. I though it was just a USA thing.

Do you guys in the UK have Old Father Father, who brings dads gifts of condoms and booze?

(We don't either. It's lox and bagels over here, and guess who pays?)

I think it started as a US thing and made its way over here, just like Halloween celebrations.

Mother's Day are different in both countries.......the UK is actually Mothering Sunday (a day set aside by the church), and its months before your Mother's Day.

nobody could ever take the place of my own dad, but my ex's dad really loved me and was always there for me... still miss him even though it's been almost 5 years since the breakup. He lives here in town but I know he wouldn't want to see me. Still, I always think of him on Father's Day because he will always mean a lot to me.

happy father's day :rose:

This is rather a strange here and there thread.

And as a father of several, they sure as fuck knew who daddy was and why and still is...and one by one, they come around to realizing that fathering a child is a bit more than a one night stand.

Both sons and daughters need fathers, get your ass out there and let them know, from both sides...

amicus the incalculable....

I've just had a brilliant day, with my whole family. I did a BBQ in my garden, then we all had a water fight. :D

My Dad and Brother went out and bought two Super Soakers. They were the worst of the lot. Bloody brilliant! :nana:

I love you, Dad!

I can't be with my dad today, but I just have to say that he rocks. I'm a total daddy's-little-girl and I don't know what I'd do w/o him.

Father's day to me -

I just built a section of a fence today, but the kids bought me a remote keyboard and a universal TV remote! I think they want me to stay farther from them.
