Happy Easter, AH

Our local police have had to review and improve security measures for the Easter Service at Canterbury Cathedral because of a threat by Fathers For Justice to disrupt the Archbishop's Easter Address.

The local TV station made Fathers For Justice sound like Al Queda. If they do manage to disrupt the Address what would happen? A couple of men would shout in Church and because they do not have a public address system and the Archbishop has, whatever they shout is unlikely to be heard.

Yet our media is treating it as if 9/11 is about to be repeated.

Someone needs a sense of proportion.

Happy Easter.

Burn them as heretics?

That's a delicate subject in Canterbury. Protestants AND Catholics were martyred there. Some were starved to death in the castle - cheaper than burning.

Starvation: the no frills martyrdom.

sorry, that was in poor taste, but my mood is "out there" this morning and the kids really don't appreciate it
