Can't even suspend your idiotic crusade for even one moment can you LT?

Ah well, expecting anything more from you is an exercise in futility.
Surely you jest. Surely.

Ha, I didn't realize it was the Big Four Oh. Double happy Birthday to you then!

Hey, I'm a funny guy when the mood strikes me.

I wonder if it's too early to start drinking...

Hey, I get roaring drunk one day a year. Mostly to remind me why I don't drink like that every weekend anymore.

Don't you oppress me! ;)

Suck it up, big boy, there's violence inherent in the system.

Indeed you are.

There are several good reasons to drink before lunch, which is rapidly approaching anyway.
We delineated a few back in our (long ago) college days:
Blizzards
Car accidents, no matter how minor
Birthdays
Great grades; poor grades....

and pretty much any other excellent reason you could come up with.... But then again, that was college.

I say, Go for it!

Reci, I want both of you to have a happy UD's birthday.... can you drive?
Or did you mean "drive"? In which case, not so much alcohol, Ulaven! Don't want to impair the motor skills too much, yanno ;)

He doesn't like it when other people drive.

Well, the car.

The good news is that I can get as drunk as I want, though, huh?

Designate a driver; he only turns 40 once and you don't want to remember it as "that night we met the cops."

He's always the driver. It's a thing.

I can see both sides of this, since I can be an alpha about driving, but there are just times when it is appropriate to let someone else do the driving.... in any number of circumstances....

On the other hand, how many people get to benefit from someone else's birthday bash? Rock on!

Let me be clear. He isn't really drinking and he will drive. Neither of these things are negotiable particularly.
