I think that I'm deserving of a birthday thread, even if I have to be the one to write it.

It is my birthday after all, born July 26, 1972 in Boston City Hospital.

I understand those not wanting to start a thread on my benefit for fear of being targeted to be my friend and to be bashed the way that I'm bashed, just as I understand everyone ignoring this thread and not posting their birthday wishes to me.

I'd like to acknowledge those who have wished me a Happy Birthday, already, thank you.

I should be out doing something else on my birthday rather than be here, but I'm working on a story. Actually, it's a very long, multi-chapter story. Okay, you twisted my arm, it's a Halloween story.

I'm hoping to have 40 or 50 chapters to submit in the Halloween contest. I know that I don't have a chance in Hell of winning and that's not why I'm writing the story. The contest themes inspire me to write. I apologize for those who take offense of me entering so many stories, yet, until Laurel makes a rule that I can only enter so many stories, then...oh well.

Meanwhile...

"Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday, Dear Freddie, Happy Birthday to me!"

Okay, I have to go. The Red Sox are playing the Yankees at Fenway Park.

Oh good grief! Don't be so self pitying!

Happy birthday! :D

Thanks, Red, I knew I could count on your for a Happy Birthday.

You know how much I love freckles, don't you?

I have a think for freckles. To me Irish women are the most beautiful women on the planet, especially when they are mixed with another nationality.

I'm not irish, I don't have a lot of freckles and I ain't a natural red head. Have a good birthday though.

Pizza joint by the airport? Of course, you must be East Boston. Only, if you want to die happy eating pizza, then the next time you are in Boston you must come to the North End the Italian section of the city.

Now, that's where the really good pizza is made in brick ovens that are 100 years old.

Try Reginna's pizza or any place on Hanover Street.

They closed European Pizza (sniff, sniff) and that used to be really good, too.

My best friend Angelo, if you ever make it to Newbury Street, has his pizza place, Newbury Pizza and he makes the authentic deep dish Sicilian pizza.

Happy Birthday, BFW.

I've visited Boston, north side, and enjoyed some marvelous food, the Paul Revere sights and a Sam Adams brewery tour.

Beautiful town.

:rose:

Happy Birthday :)

(believe it or not, I was born close to you...in Lowell)

Thank you for the birthday wishes.

What I love about Boston is that you can walk anywhere from anywhere. It's filled with history, it's charming, and it's quaint. Besides all of that, it's relatively safe to walk around Boston at night.

Just don't turn down any dark alleyways in backbay. They are filled with homeless people.

If you haven't been to Lowell lately, you should see it now. They are fixing it up, much like in the way they did with Boston with lots of expensive condos where all those big textile factories were on the water.

There's still lots of crime, though, drugs and prostitution.

My father was a department head with Raytheon. We didn't live in Lowell, that's just the hospital I where I was born.

I remember very little about it. We moved to LA when I was five.

We did a lot of walking on the North Shore, I guess it's called. Heard interesting accents, saw lots of "Fuck the Yankees" T-shirts, had yummy Italian food and were dazzled by the green, red and white colors everywhere.

Saw beautiful Boston Harbor as the plan flew out.

I'd like to go back sometime.

The North Shore or the North End?

The North End is where I was born. The North End is where you'll find the Old North Church, Paul Revere's House, the Freedom Trail, and when you look across Boston Harbor, you'll see the U. S. S. Constitution and the Bunker Hill Monument.

The North Shore is where you'll find many rich people, Essex, Beverly, Manchester By The Sea, Rockport, and Gloucester. If you haven't been to the North Shore of Massachusetts, it's beautiful. If you continue straight up the coast to Maine, you'll come to George's Daddy's house in Kennebunkport. I was there, but the Secret Service wouldn't allow me in (lol).

"But, I helped pay for this palacial palace."

Ah, the North End, then. Freedom Trail - we saw the Old North Church and Revere's House.

Really liked Sam Adams brewery - got my first taste of Winter Lager.

If I knew you in town, I could have shown you and your hubby a good time. I hope you at least rode one of the Ducks. That's a fun tour. I hope you made it to Newbury Street. You know, Fenway Park isn't that far away. Your husband or boyfriend or girlfriend may have enjoyed seeing the Red Sox play.
