Weren't they the drive-in's that you could pull right up into your parking spot and order what you would like to eat? I can remember they had the best root beer floats.

I hope I'm not getting confused with another brand name, but that's what I'm picturing inside my head right now. At least that's what I remember while living in South Jersey.

One thing I don't miss are all of the circles that we used to have to drive around. I believe they've done away with most of them, too.

I just remembered it was a Weber's Drive In. But, maybe they changed their name later on.

Yes, you could drive right into some of the Stewart's, and get burgers and such. But the root beer was the main attraction.

I know the Freehold Circle was demolished long, long ago, but I didn't know they were replacing all the circle. They were quite the rite of passage for a new 16 year old Jersey driver. I'll miss them.

I pass a Stewarts Drive Inn near Flemington quite often, in fact bottles os Stewarts are now considered gourmet foods, happy birthday.
