I've only "met" you very recently, and yet your poetry and grace are awe-inspiring. Thanks for contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of the PF&D forum.
I see I'm a bit late to the festivities. I was at the Mariners game, which ran to almost five hours and which we managed to blow with a walked-in run in the top of the twelfth.
It sounds like Angie had much more fun today, which is appropriate for her natal day.
In any case, my belated best wishes and thanks to you for all you've done for the forum, and me personally, through the years. Paul wishes you his best as well. Though that's a fake video. This one seems more authentic, but isn't the Beatles.
Perhaps this is a better present.
Anyway, happy, be.
It's funny how time slides by
in cries and sighs, laughter and smiles
that while away those little words
ink black blots that jot down
a though a whim
happy birthday my friend
Though sadness has bitten down
and some days hurt more than most
I raise a toast to your strength
your character
and to your ability
to make me feel your words
Hope you have a wonderful day!

The Byrds are one of my all-time favorites--especially Eight Miles High, with its Coltrane-inspired twelve-string solo.Mister T-Zed, the Beatles are always a tasteful choice for me. But you you what song has been in my head the past few days? This one.![]()
The Byrds are one of my all-time favorites--especially Eight Miles High, with its Coltrane-inspired twelve-string solo.
My favorite Byrds album, though, is probably Younger Than Yesterday, which has both My Back Pages and So You Want to Be a Rock and Roll Star, which (I was fourteen at the time), I did. That, or point guard for the Boston Celtics.![]()
