Hannah/Miley

My diva's into this, too. Only, she says, "ICoily" 'cause she has a problem with Rs. ;)

I like her friend (the really mean one). She's a bad example, but the best thing on the show. They need to give a Valium to the guy playing her older brother. I haven't seen anyone that over the top since Nathan Lane in The Bird Cage. :D

funny you should bring that up. My nephew hates Avatar, but my sister likes that one and wishes that he would too.

M. Night Shyamalan is signed on to direct the live-action version. I'm still undecided if that's a good thing or bad. After the reviews I'm hearing about 'The Happening', I think I'd prefer Michael Bay. :(

my sister is 16 and like hannah montana and icarly and that sort of shit, i usually just die a little inside and leave the room.

Does anyone else think her mannerisms/speaking voice/tone/etc. are exceedingly annoying? I don't mind Miley as herself (not her t.v. characters), but I cannot stand that fucking Hannah Montana show. Do I just have really sensitive ears or something?

It can't just be me....

It's not just you. That song, the popular one, makes me wanna stab myself in the eye. Something about her voice reminds me of the rough redneck girls I went to high school with. You know, the kind Carson and I used to hide from in gym class?

That show has grown on me, although I don't understand why Nick recycles people from other shows. Carly and the brother were both on Drake & Josh, although the brother wasn't one of the regular characters.

Mine likes Avatar. Come to think of it, I do to.

Me too. :)

I knew those girls! Frightening.

On another website, I knew a guy who drew Dora. Finally, he quit. I guess he could no longer bring himself to lower his artistic standards for one more day.

My diva daughter loves Hannah Montana. I deal. She also loves High School Musical, and I deal with that a bit easier. It wouldn't be my first choice, but...

The good thing is that seems to be leading to an appreciation for other things. Although some are rather questionable for a girl about to turn seven.

I mean, she loves "Chicago" and "Moulin Rouge". And some of the themes are so not appropriate. It's a quandary. I'd like to encourage her love of singing and dancing. But I don't want to explain what it really means to be "Good To Mama" or why Christian is supposedly being invited straight to the elephant.
