Do Trump Loyalists Have Enough Seats on the Supreme Court Bench,
to End Abortion Rights ? 14 states want to know.

"...does not provide exceptions for those impregnated in an act of rape or incest.

March 10, 2021

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. —

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Tuesday signed into law -
legislation banning nearly all abortions in the state, a sweeping measure that supporters hope
will force the U.S. Supreme Court to revisit its landmark Roe v. Wade decision.

(Opponents vow to block before it takes effect later this year.)

“We must abolish abortion in this nation just as we abolished slavery in the
19th century – all lives matter,” Republican Sen. Jason Rapert, the bill’s sponsor
said in a statement.

A larger rip in the seams of the Big Christian Tent.

The rape victims had shut up, and put up, for far too long.

Many people had been told, that the sacrifice would all be worth it.

Many women are walking away.

Though, a few are competing for a 2021 Serena Joy Award.

The church’s website and social media have since been taken down, but not before
people noticed a Facebook post by the church celebrating how Long was dedicating
himself to Jesus:

A 2018 video on the Crabapple Facebook page features Long discussing his
Christian journey toward baptism.

Long’s apparent white supremacy wouldn’t make him an anomaly in the organization.
You can fully expect Southern Baptist leaders to denounce the shootings, but they’re also
going to pretend that the culture they created and supported in their members churches
had nothing to do with his mindset. As if he got radicalized due to something else.

Long was reportedly on his way to Florida to carry out additional shootings,

In testimony to the Georgia State Senate the day before the shootings,

Another "lone shooter," emerges from Trump's manufactured propaganda -
a brainwashed young adult, convinced that Asia is at fault for everything.

A little bit of terrorism, to announce another list of people on the offical to-hate list.

Hypocrite Trump and his family took bribes , and allowed a flood of paying
immigrants to enter the country, at a time when we were aware of deaths from
coronavirus.

Trump heard from the intellignce community that coronavirus was deadly,
at the very start, and blabbed to his very best campaign contributors,
but did not care if his family's paying customers spread coronavirus
to all corners of the U.S.A.

At the end of this, we have a leader in a small town, angry that he did not get
a trophy wife like Melania Trump, and an idiot that committed mass murder.

Robert Aaron Long committed terrorism against the Asian community.

Kyle Rittenhouse committed terroism against the Antifa community.

Dylan Roof committed terrorism against the Black community

In August, following deadly attacks in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas,
President Donald Trump said "serious discussions" would take place between
congressional leaders on "meaningful" background checks for gun owners.

But Mr Trump quietly rowed back on that pledge, reportedly after a long phonecall

a powerful lobby group which opposes gun control measures.

Speaking to reporters after the call, the president said the US had
"very strong background checks right now", adding that mass shootings
were a "mental problem"

An enormous amount of low-wage employees are women.

So many, that the Walmart chain was allowed to tell the women
that they were not allowed to bring a class action suit against Walmart.
Each low-income woman would need to get her own lawyer and sue
the fuckers on her own. Nationwide, they all had the same experiences.
They united to fight inequality, sexism, male sexual aggression, and men,
that were stealing what was rightfully theirs.

Having $15 per hour wages to count on, would be a wish come true.

But, a group of old white men, and a few rotten-hearted young men
had already taken bribes from mega-corporations.

A living wage for the poors would damage their stock portfolios.

Kentucky Republican Governor Matt Bevin makes an exit-

Supreme Court agrees to hear first abortion case with 6-3 conservative majority

March 29, 2021

The justices agreed to hear the Kentucky attorney general’s bid to intervene
in a lawsuit over a state abortion ban that the governor refused to defend.
However, the court refused the Kentucky attorney general’s request to consider
whether a lower court decision striking down the ban should be thrown out.

What this means: The court’s new conservative supermajority is being closely watched
for signs of how it is willing go toward revisiting or overturning precedent on abortion,
including the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortion nationwide.

The case, Cameron v. EMW Women’s Surgical Center, concerns Kentucky’s 2018 ban
on a common method of surgical abortion used after 15 weeks of pregnancy, known as
dilation and evacuation. The was signed by the previous Republican governor, Matt Bevin,
but was blocked by lower federal courts.

Supreme Court agrees to hear bid for new defense of Kentucky abortion law

March 29, 201

The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear an appeal from Kentucky’s attorney general
who wants to be allowed to defend a restriction on abortion rights that lower courts had
struck down.

The underlying issue in the case, to be heard in the fall, is a blocked Kentucky law that
abortion rights supporters say would have effectively banned a standard abortion method
in the second trimester of pregnancy.

The law was adopted in 2018

Following a lawsuit by abortion providers, a trial court permanently blocked the law.

In February, Kentucky’s Republican-led legislature gave Cameron the power to seek
civil and criminal penalties for any violation of Kentucky’s abortion laws.

All the money in the world won't matter, if women are classified as farm stock.

FOX TV's Jillian Mele (Fox & Friends)

Mele’s excuse for this Republican lovefest was the “record shattering” number of GOP
women now in the House, reaching their 100th day in office. She didn’t mention that
Republican women represent only a quarter of the female members and less than a tenth
overall. That did not stop Mele from pretending that her all-white group of four cherry-
picked freshmen was diverse.

Mele announced that one had been homeless, one dropped out of high school and one
is “really busy fighting for the business owners” in the U.S. (Notably absent were Reps.
Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert.) “All their distinct backgrounds led them
to this one place where they are very busy and hard at work fighting for you,”
Mele chirped.

Sure, fighting for “you,” so long as you are a conservative. Rep. Nicole Malliotaki said,
“We really reflect America and to be here fighting against socialism, fighting for the
taxpayers, fighting for sanity and common sense.” The four quickly merged into a
single anti-immigrant swarm, sugar-coated with humanitarian concerns. Malliotakis
said she’s just back from the border, where she was able to “expose” the “humanitarian
crisis, a national security crisis, a public health crisis.”

The Extreme Anti-Abortion Agenda Being Pushed Forward at the
Texas Lege Is Harmful and Cruel

April 16, 2021

Some of the most extreme and restrictive abortion bills in the country are
quickly moving through the Texas legislature, including a bill that would
ban abortions at six-week gestation without the exception for rape or incest
and would allow anyone to sue abortion providers for perceived violations
of abortion regulations.

This policy trend is being echoed throughout the nation as dozens of
anti-abortion legislatures push their agenda to further restrict and, in
some cases, nearly ban abortion. These harmful laws are being introduced
by the same lawmakers who are pushing anti-voter and anti-LGBTQIA
bills to wield their power over marginalized Texans.

Lawmakers are refusing to use correct medical terminology. They use words that
muddle the normal and medical aspects of abortion and it's a clear tactic to spark
an emotional response. Texans should have leaders that help the state benefit from
advancements in science and medicine. These tactics are a shameful and clear signal
that they care about their political agenda more than they care about people.

After years of burdensome regulations, the number of clinics offering abortions
in the state has dwindled and those most impacted are people living in rural and
marginalized communities.

This issue is a bit more than it seems.

General Milley has always been an extreme traditionalist, as most military generals are. He has always hewed to the idea of a single chain-of-command, each commander is responsible for the welfare of troops under his command, period. The ability of female troops to go outside of their chain-of-command was anathema to him.

When the former guy was commander-in-chief, the former guy reinforced the long-established "norm", so General Milley thought he was on safe footing.

Then General Milley realized what his legacy would be, what he would be remembered for: the single biggest increase in the number of reported sexual assaults in the history of the United States armed forces: an incredible 18 percent increase in 2018.

Worse, there was more than a bit of grumbling in the ranks. Commanders have to make unpopular decisions from time to time, but the feeling was widespread that General Milley was "out of touch" and the officer corps of the United States Army essentially gave General Milley a "vote of no confidence".

When President Joe Biden took over from the former guy's one-term regime, he publicly announced an about-face in policy: victims of sexual assault could seek redress outside the change of command. That was now the official policy of the United States military. The commander in chief had spoken.

General Milley saw this as a "hail Mary" attempt to salvage his tattered legacy. He dutifully adopted his new C-in-C's policy, recognizing albeit lately that what had worked so well in the past simply didn't work anymore. He dropped his long-standing opposition to changes in military tradition, tacitly acknowledging that as he had "failed to accomplish his mission" as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

One suspects that history will not be kind to four star General Mark Milley. A sad end to an otherwise brilliant career.

The military is an ugly parallel to law enforcement.

Both advertise themselves as exceptional - "The few, the proud", " New York's finest", etc, but in reality they are steeped in the most toxic, racist, sexist, abusive traditions of any American institutions.

Anyone (Milley) who is so immersed in tradition and protocol that they can no longer recognize or repudiate egregiously wrongful dishonorable acts, probably doesn't deserve to be in a command position.

Soon after the phone call to the police, Mikayla Miller left her home.

She never came home, after that.

Someone had stood her dead body up to a tree, and secured her neck to the tree,
by a belt, and left her body there.

Mikayla Miller was jumped and beaten on Saturday April 17th, 2021

No autopsy, no official report on May 3, 2021 The Medical Examiner has yet
to announce a cause of death.

Mikayla's mother said -

“The Hopkinton police did not log either the incident when my daughter was ambushed
now when she was found dead,” the statement continued. “The state police did NOT
conduct an investigation or speak to the persons involved.”

Mikayla's mother said-
Sergeant Sean O’Brien warned Mikayla Miller's mother that if she went to the media

Mikayla was a black teen girl. She had been in an argument with her girlfriend.

Tonight on Greater Boston public TV nightly show, some details emerged,
when Middlesex District Attorney Ryan joined Jim Braude on Greater Boston

without the noted grain of salt - in a word- NO.

The sad fact is, in Massachusetts, that unless you are some important international
figure, a highly placed politician, a judge, a police officer, or related services,
a famous sports figure, they really do not give a fuck. Just another corpse.

Formerly one horse town, mostly rural area, does not have the resources to execute
a first rate investigation. This is a nasty tangle of teens, a murder concerning local
white teens, and a mystery killer. It is a pain in the arse that the police were looking
to avoid. The local police gave the mother of Mikayla Miller a simple answer to kill
the case. They could return to pleasing the local wealthy patrons, and enjoying the
good ol' police boy's club, and their normal routines.

Instead, BLM is looming over a case guarded by white police. They may be forced
to give a detailed explanation. (Not truthful, perhaps ?)

Hopkinton, MA Municipal Police Department ? Mikayla Miller lived in Hopkinton,
and died near her home.

Sad day for women’s rights in Texas. Sadly this will disproportionately effect those with lower incomes who won’t be able to travel else where to access services. We had a similar problem in the UK and Northern Ireland. Women of Northern Ireland had to travel to England to access services and avoid being criminalised. Fingers crossed that Stormont (parliament of Northern Ireland) won’t roll back these rights and their health authorities get their act together and provide the services. The decision to terminate is difficult enough without structural barriers.

How About We Don't Charge Women Who Have Stillbirths With Murder? —
by @jamielynncrofts

(link)

May 22, 2021

A a judge in California dismissed murder charges against Chelsea Becker,
for having a stillborn baby.

But, unfortunately, this is not the end of the bigger fight.

Judge Burns ruled from the bench that prosecutors had failed to prove Becker acted
with malice, a requirement in a murder charge, because they presented no evidence
that Becker knew using meth while she would pregnant would kill her baby.

According to Lynn Paltrow from National Advocates for Pregnant women,
one of Becker's lawyers, that's because there actually is no medical or scientific
basis for saying meth causes stillbirths.

Paltrow celebrated the dismissal but noted that Judge Burns had left the door open
for future prosecutions of pregnant women.

"This prosecution based on a misinterpretation of state law resulted in somebody being
deprived of her liberty and exposed to the real danger of COVID for 16 months of her
life," she said. "This cost taxpayers innumerable dollars in terms of the incarceration
as well as all of the time to pay for the prosecution in this case, money that could have
been used to improve access to healthcare in their community."

This is the case that fanatic anti-choice Christian are using to produce a legal trail

Old white men cannot see the point in protecting women against
domestic abuse, rape, unwanted pregnancies, diseases carried by
rapists, stalkers, and sexal harrassment in the workplace.

OTOH, they find it perfectly acceptable for a man to slip a drug
into a girlfriend's beverage, and not tell her that he is causing her
to have a miscarriage, and endanger her health. /end bodysong comment
