Sure, it's a one word thread title, but admitted it-you instantly pictured what I'm talking about. stories about playful partners enjoying restraints. could be the clasic cuffs, or anything else, such as zip ties. I had fun with Holly Likes Handcuffs, and it has performed steadily since 2003.

There is a steady niche market for the bondage end of bdsm stories. Twenty pages of stories tagged "handcuffs". but always room for more.

They can focus narrowly on the sensation of restraining and being restrained, or worked into a larger plot.
The characters can range from family to strangers,. the categories aren't limited to bdsm itself. They an be in taboo/incest, LW, group ex, fetish, first time. They seem to be popular in celebrtiies and fan fiction. Hmmm...who knew?

A story about a first time submissive is a common trope. But you could reverse it, and have the experienced sub guiding the newbie top.

I have it on good authority (more than three witnesses) that cops LOVE sex playing with their handcuffs. so that's one stream of potential story ideas.

a second involves cops not playing with recreational partners, but with prisoners. I typically propose that trope a few times in the NND ideas thread ... the nude "offender" is irresistible to the cop/jailer. no reason not to expand to other contexts than the contest.

Even with all the equipment potentially involved in BDSM, don't forget to focus on how people are feeling, not just physical sensations, but emotions too. Many, many years ago, on a different site, I wrote a snippet describing a piece of custom bondage equipment. This year, I rewrote it, focusing on the emotions of the three characters involved. Same equipment, same time frame as my original.

I dig the story idea!
(I prefer scarves or bandanas in real life, but for stories, rope is the way to go. Handcuffs are easy, but suggest - to me - either a law enforcement fetish, NTTIAWWT, or someone who is unwilling or not skilled enough to tie knots).

Handcuffs, or bondage cuffs for a first time top make sense tho.

The premise would lead to some interesting "topping from the bottom".
