I`ll join if that`s ok. I know how it is when one put up a thread and no one shows interest in it or at least not for awhile.
I loved Halo. I`ve played all the games, read all the books, and studied it one the internet.

Here`s my character if you want to look over it (will fix him up if need be.)

NAME: Evendur "Dead Eye" Avellan
AGE: 19
SPECIES: Human
GENDER: Male
AFFILIATION: UNSC
-> RANK: 2nd Lieutenant
APPEARENCE: Stands 5'11" and weighs 144 lb. Looks thin and gangly so not physically strong, but has fast reflexes. Has straight black hair, light blue eyes, and pale skin. He has a tattoo on his left arm with words saying "USA". Wears light armor that`s dark gray and covers his entire body.
PERSONALITY: Silent, cunning and calculating, these are the words that define Evendur. He doesn`t make friends easily, but is highly loyal to them and his companions. Evendur is always determined to see a mission through to the end and will even wait for days in one spot for the perfect shot. He never rushes into situations, but would rather analyze every available option.
HISTORY: Born on Earth, Evendur had little to look forward to. His parents died while he was still a little child. As he grew up, he found it hard to find a job and maintain a living, so he joined the military. When he got into the UNSC military the war with the Covenant was still raging on and so he wanted to take a stand against the Covenant and prevent humanity from becoming extinct. He rose through the ranks and found that he was a professional at sharpshooting. He fame rose as he became one of the best sharpshooters ever heard of.

Wears light body armor, dark grey and white camo coloring and design, that covers his entire body.
PERSONALITY: Evendur is silent and cunning. He`s not very social and therefore has few friends. However, he`s very loyal and supportive of his friends and companions. He doesn`t like being the center of attention. Also he never rushes into situations, but would rather look over every available option and study them to see which would be best.
HISTORY: Born on Earth, Evendur was an orphan. Learning to take care of himself was hard, especially when he couldn`t find a single job. He finally decided to join in the military. He quickly found that the UNSC military ws the perfect place for him. He became an excellent scout, due to his quiet and quick reflexes, and part medic.
NOTES: Evendur is mainly a scout, checking out an area for enemies, taps, and other valuable information. He is also acts as a medic if need be.

Actually, I'm a huge Halo fan. The reason I have no intrest in this particular thread is the lack of available SPARTAN's and the fact that this particular SPARTAN is like God on wheels. I don't find that very entertaining in my opinion. But, to each his own, and I wish you luck on the thread.

Name: Keith
Designation: Chief Petty Warrant Officer, Sierra zero-six-nine
Affiliation: UNSC, NAVSPECWEP, Spartan Black team
Homeworld: Charybdis XIV
Appearance: Olive Green MJOLNIR Armor, with the mottled black sublayers. Reflective from the Energy-shields, a black tinted visor.

Weapon of choice: Battle Rifle, Assault Rifle.
Primary Skills: Battle Tactician, Leader, Rifleman
Secondary Skills: Piloting, Communications

Bio: Keith, Spartan 069, was the product of the UNSC's second-coming of Operation TREBUCHET. The SPARTAN-II program was designed to create Humanity's supersoldiers to defeat Insurrectionists all throughout human controlled space. These operatives, these SPARTANS, became instrumental in the fight against the Covenant.

These SPARTANS were trained on the UNSC's primary military world, Reach. Consisting of 70 trainees pre-augmentation, several were excluded from the main body for defects. 3 of these SPARTANS were diverted to Gray team. The other 2 were diverted to SPARTAN Black team. These 2, Keith and Cory, were the "Expendable" elements of the SPARTAN program.

Sent into the places that were normally inaccessible, with no viable escape route, these two men would find success again and again, often at a great cost to the enemy. A role, which they were supplanted by the SPARTAN III's. Now, these 2 'Expendable' Spartan II's were re-assigned to the frontier of Human controlled space, in the on-going war with the Covenant.

It was during one of these missions that SPARTAN 111, Cory, was offically declared 'MIA'. His true status was half-past dead. He sacrificed himself, so that Keith could escape, back home, back to Humanity. Now, one of the only SPARTANS left for Humanity, he was awaiting further re-assignment.

SPARTAN grey team was chronicled in Halo: Cole Protocol. To the best of my knowledge, there is no Black team.

And the other statement is far from true. Red team was completely expendable on Reach, as was Blue team during the Earth counter-invasion campaign (circa Halo: Evolutions).

Black Team is real. I`ve read all the books, played all the games, and so on. There are thousands of Spartan teams.

There are not thousands of SPARTAN teams. Hell, there aren't even thousands of SPARTANS. Black team DOES in fact exist, that I apologize for.

As for Sticking to the original rp idea, I have no problem with that. I'll just gracefully back out. To me, the only fun of RP'ing in a Haloverse, would be to play as SPARTANS, absolutely no SPARTANS, or only Covenant. Playing Marines with random Spartan leader isn't incredibly fun to me. So, if that's the script, I'll back out.

group. You only made a shaky statement
that it, "Might not," later on but either way, your
first statement was that. And I have quoted
it for your viewing pleasure. As you seem to
have forgotten what you wrote....

Second of all, we have been in a few ooc's together
not really role-playing. But I am kinda
tired of your really mean attitude towards everyone.
I don't want to join because I don't like Halo. I don't
want to join because your attitude towards potential
players offends. Deeply.

Maybe if you would stop getting mad, or, "ticked off,"
you would have more people around you. But no. You
spend too much time being OP with all of your characters
and acting like a total douche.

You can say what you want to me, but being rude and
giving my friend attitude is a, "very easy way to tick me off."
So bitch and complain all you want, it's still going to
defend my case. Have a nice day.

Fair enough. I try to be calm, but there are just a few occasions that someone gets on my nerves. Unfortunately, you seem to be in the RPs where that happens. Or you come in to insult me in one of the threads I was actually looking forward to instead of just PM'ing me. I appreciate that, by the way.

At any rate, this isn't getting anywhere. I'm pulling this thread. I would like to thank you, Avellan, and you, Angel, for showing interest and I am deeply disappointed that this thread won't get to bloom.
