I beat yours... no seriously there's a lot of waiting going on. I waited almost a week on one had about 35 views, got rejected and had to resubmitt after a PM to Laural. It finally posted this morning. The other one is at 161 views and still no word on approval in the same time period.

Hye Vamp! Strange things. I think the gremlins are at work on the servers. I had one approved, posted and up about two weeks, then moved to rejected and removed. At the same time, a 'middle story' of a series just vanished!! Pm'ed with Laurel several times to get straight. She said she had no idea what happened to vanishing story. Not an active delete on her part. So who knows?

Hi, Sack. Since you mention it, I do have some poems that are getting very few votes. One is "A Buxom Young Woman Named Tess". an erotic limerick which has nine votes. And I have "A Woman's Revenge", a non-erotic poem that has eight votes. Also, "Father of the Bride", an illustrated poem that has eight votes. It is also non erotic and the pic is of me at my daughter's wedding. (well, duh)

I have found that, unless they are included in the poetry reviews, they attract very few views or votes.

There's none I'm aware of. I've known Laurel to post the winners right after midnight California time. But not listing a cut-off time on the rules gives her 24 hours before the hounds start baying.

Yep. I watched your score slide ever lower because I was scooping on down in unison, all the while managing to stay a couple points below you. Not that I'm complaining about that position, you understand.

ps: Well, according to the old time keeper in the bottom right corner of my screen, it is now 3:00 here in Big D. Laurel has posted over thirty new stories tonight (dated the 29th) so she's up and about. Whether she'll finish the contest stuff, who knows? But I'll wait until the morn to congratulate the winners.
