Halloween Support Thread

I know that is the earliest date. The last date is the 22 October but you should submit at least 3 days before then.

If you (or I) don't get moving before the first date then editing the story into shape might take too long.

Og

Not to mention if you write more than a page, it will take the longest time you have available to get the reads required to count in the long-run. 25 votes, is it?

I'm still searching for the idea that can fit into what's wanted for a Halloween contest. I can't find something quick that can be done in time and fit into the Halloween theme. This type of forced writing will be good for preparing for NaNo, though...

Hopefully, monkeys will fly out of my ass and bring with them a good idea and a little inspiration to write it down with.

too true, I tried to slip a part 3 in last comp and submitted it on the day before the comp closed - it didn't get added. :(

I'm not worried. My entry is done and I will submit it late on September 30. Since it is a contest entry, it should post the next day. Good luck, everybody, by the way. Since my story is such a departure from the filthy smut I usually write, I hope I don't disappoint my regular readers. :D

Well I got comments back from guinea Pig #1, I like to call him scruffles. Once I get comments back from guinea Pig #2 (porkchop) then I'll get to editing AND I had a brainstorm on how to make it more halloween orientated. If I am calculating right, my page break will be right around the 'deflowering' so I should have a good chance at getting people to flip to page 2.

I do have to say this mornings demonstration of manflesh and chainsaws was good motivation.

I appreciate the thought, Sam, but the truth is I'm too much of a chicken to write or read horror at all.

You know, you don't have to write horror at all. You can write about a person going to a halloween party and meeting the man or woman of his or her dreans, and sneaking away to the upstairs bedroom for sex. Make it Lesbian, E/C, Interracial, Loving Wives, Gay Male, or whatever. EH is sort of expected but it is not necessary.

 You always say exactly the right thing, dear one.

Oh, I've already started it, but it remains to be seen whether it'll actually get finished or not.....another erotic horror piece for me. :D

Too many ideas

I have started two stories but my muses keep hurling new plotlines at me.

I wish they'd stop until NaNoWriMo. ;)

Wow.. looks like I may actually write again.. think i'll even have a story for the contest.

I just submitted a ghost story but it's not EH and isn't an entry in the Halloween contest.

Erotic Horror... with a Halloween theme... why do I hear a group of nasal voices brawling "ding-dong, the witch is dead!" inside my head?
