A recently divorced man returns to his hometown and reunites with his former high school sweetheart who is bisexual and married to another woman. The three start a business together but is threatened from being taken over from a corporation led by his ex-wife.

Verrah interesting. Needs some complication, tho -

Perhaps the business threat isn't his ex-wife, it's the ex-girlfriend's wife's estranged sister - not a twin, but close enough to mistake in a haze, drunken or otherwise. Have fun with that fact, preferrably multiple times.

The threat's lead investigator has had the unrequitted hots for said threat for a long time. You could make a story either with the investigator silently pining away, or having been shot down by the threat once they poured out their heart. There may be a sexual bribery scene in there, or collusion with the trio to bring the 'fated couple' together at last. If it's Hallmark it's gotta have a 'happily ever after', sometimes for the baddies too!
