Hairy Men, Are They (we) Desirable?

Be gentle. My first topic. Probably an ancient topic.

Nature saw fit to bless me with quite a lot of body hair. While I have zero desire to undergo weird and expensive and probably ineffective surgeries, it has caused me to be very self conscious over the years. It has been, IME, hard to find partners that aren't put off. I don't believe in changing oneself to fit others. I don't consider myself ugly (at 52 years on this mad fucking world) but I do find that I look a little ridiculous, so I doubt you'd see me at the beach (except as the subject of a strange nature documentary!)

So with that said, I'm not really sure how to ask. I guess my question is, as far as can be ascertained, are there a lot of women (me being straight) who like body hair? A select and sadly distant few?

People can answer as they please or not at all. Thanks, forgive the rambling

Don't get me wrong. Hairless men can be fun, and they CAN be real men, they just don't look the part by default. They can be quite sexy, I admit.

Given the choice I prefer real men over Ken after he exploited Barbie's spa vouchers.

They may well be. Each to their own, and I'm not here to judge, but I could never undergo that degree of cosmetic surgery. I'd rather just be plain old me. It's sad to me that anyone would feel compelled, purefly on the basis of cosmetics to do that. But WTF do i know, i'm on a sexy stories forum talking about how hairy I am.

I've never heard a single woman complain about a man being too hairy. Or something else.
Yes, some men might want to lose a little bit of weight or rest more healthy (or take a shower more often and I'm pretty sure some of you know whom I'm referring to) but hey, we are human. A woman can cream her panties looking at a sculptures hairless undies model, but still prefer real men.
Have you ever seen Polar with Mads Mikkelsen? Don't tell my husband but I creamed my panties seeing him. Do you think Black Kaiser shaved his balls or body? Unlikely, isn't it?

Thank you, I appreciate the reply. As I've gotten older I've become less secure about my body I guess. It's silly, really, given what i've said about changing my looks. Never thought twice about it when i was younger and dumber . People come in all shpes and sizes and find happiness with each other, and god bless.

Well, I guess it's down to invidual experience. Just got to meet the right people I guess

Sometimes I do feel I look ridiculous. But it is waht it is. Can't get weird about it or you'll need a jungle therapist!

I even took a couple of pics the other week. I have no idea why, I figured...just in case something happens off here (haha!). But after I did so. I felt utter fucking silly!
