I shave. I have for a while now. I shave my chest, stomach, and pubic region. I get nice remarks about it. I do run into a problem however. My skin is pretty sensitive, so it gets irritated somewhat easily. (Any tips???) And stuble does itch a little bit. Even though I've been doing it for quite a while. It feels really nice when I first do it, especially after you put lotion on. Makes you look more "equipped" also, which the ladies never seem to mind.
