Hairless...why?

Good topic, I've given it some thought... too much, probably. I enjoy the appearance of a neatly trimmed bush. A landing strip, an equalateral triangle, a heart shape... they're all great. It shows attention to hygene, as all good subs should. The wilderness is fine, but I like my lawn manicured.

I just don't like a completely bald puss. I don't want infect anyone with my pyschological issues, but... a bald puss makes me think of underage girls... ewwww. Ick.

Keep the badge of womanhood, just keep it manicured.

Sir Etienne I agree I prefer being extremely trimmed and cured but not bald there, and must say that i don't like men completely shaved as well.
I was shaved completely bald once ( appendicitis surgery) and it gave me a weird sensation of being gone back to my childhood .... B.

While it's always been a nonegotiable rule that i shave or wax, i never bothered to ask Him why & after reading this thread i asked my Master exactly what He reasons are regarding this preference of His. His answer to me, "For aesthetic reasons." .

i like it smooth. i love the way it looks too. i don't care for the look of a coarse hairy bush. i enjoy the way my hairless mons feels against my clothing, and especially when wearing a skirt ( i stopped wearing panties a couple of months ago since i started wearing very low rise jeans because i hate the look of panties sticking out of the top of my jeans .... It's just not my thing). I also prefer keeping the entire area waxed because it remains so much cleaner down there. Not to be too gross but, pubic hair tends to get kinda 'sticky-icky' halfway throughout the day ... especially when aroused etc etc . Eeww ..it's just nasty.

(I do not know about Female Dominants and if they prefere their male subs to shave or not ) What exactly does it represent? Is it just an ownership thing? Or is it just nicer to do oral on then having a mouthfull of hair?

My husband never asked me to shave, I started it on my own after seeing a woman nice and smooth and thought how beautiful it was. Once I did shave, my husband loved it and likes it kept that way. So for us it was just looks and oral being nicer type of thing.
I would have my submissives shorn because it's exactly like a spiked collar or a temporary tattoo of the word "SLUT" written in sharpie on her backside: it's a message saying she is to be used for fucking and nothing else.

I've remembered why I do not visit the BDSM Forum often. It moves too slow. Perhaps it's a little late in the night.

Indeed it does.

A lack of constant posters is our best friend and worst enemy. I'd like to see the kind of directed and intelligent posting we've got going on here occur at a higher volume and response rate.

Another young Dom to make rude comments with would be welcome though. They know I love them, but this place is all but run by femsubs.

That is true. There's a lot less "Wow, I just had a dental appointment!" fluff threads.

Another young Dom to make rude comments with would be welcome though.
I shall try to make more of an appearance here.

Question...a landing strip, is that when there is just a small trimmed patch of hair right above the slit, no where else?
Trimmed, do you like all of the hair to be trimmed, or trim the front, shave the lip area?

I agree completely, for me it is a matter of basic hygiene.
Pubic hair keep odours and there is nothing worse than having oral with a non shaved woman - actually I tried it only once and quit after about a minute or so.
Even the photos of unshaved genitals are repulsive to me.

Anything with lot of aloa vera.

Until recently I've had NO interest in a clean shaven pussy. I'm a long time affectionado of giving head and have yet to get an infection, notice an unpleasent odor or find any down side to a healthy bush aside from the occasional tickle in my nose or the stray hair stuck in a tooth.

Pussies are not dirty by nature. Whatever the time of month there are no vile bacteria or evil vapours to fear. Of course Hygine matters but don't delude yourself that shaving subsitutes for a shower and clean undies. It's been suggested that at least a little hair down there actually helps prevent infections taking hold in the vagina. As for odors I wouldn't say I'm a crotch sniffing fetish at all, and yeah a dirty person smells like a dirty person but a clean pussy, hursuite or not, has always seemed a very attractive smelling thing to me - not a rose but the name will do.

As for apperance, is there anything attractive about a rash of red dots and the bumps of ingrown hair?

Perhaps it's an aquirable taste. Recently I got involved with a girl who has been shaving brazilian for a few years and at first the combination of her petite frame and bare sex disturbed me - I'm not into children and didn't really like how much she evoked a youngster. After talking about it with her I accepted her reasons where personal and legitamate and got past my reaction. She'll wear a bush someday - there is nothing more womanly to my eye - but I do see why so many people like it bare. That said, I can't see any good reason why any one should be put off by harmless pubic hair.

Men with moustaches, on the other hand...

I think a narrow verticle line of hair is sometimes called a landing strip a landing strip, but you've got the general idea. I like pubic hair to be trimmed, meaning shortened and evened. Trimmed would also include shaving the lip area and creating straight lines.

It all boils down to a well-kept appearence. A woman goes to the salon to have her hair (on her head) styled. A styled appearence on her mound is attractive too. A Man with a trimmed beard looks like he cares about his appearence. A man with a wild growing beard looks like a bum.

Agree?

P.S. The tricky part is daily maintenance, five o'clock shadow isn't all that attractive.

I agree.

P.S. The tricky part is shaving daily without looking like a bloody horror movie victim.

Is not.

I am the matrix.

I also prefer a landing strip on my girl toys, but I'm not totally rigid about it. Some girls are cute shaved bare. I have one redhead, the firecrotch, whose bush is cute as can be all natural.

I certainly didnt say or delude myself that shaving subsitutes for a shower and clean underwear.

It goes all together, for me its easier to keep clean parts of my body not covered in hair.

And about hair preventing infections...... I should say there is very small chance I would get infected because I am shaved. My gynecologist would warn me about that for sure, and he is more competent to talk about infections.

Well, you might tell me your opinion why do you think they shave us when we give a birth to a baby if hair is not of any nuisance at all? And as I remember they kept it that way all the time I had stiches.

Rash and red dots are not common for everyone. I dont have any of those.

And sincerely, I dont think you ever spent an hour or so with your nose burried in hairy pussy cutting your tongue and desperately trying to move all the hair with your fingers to get to the clit...... or you would notice some benefits of shaving.

Actually, my midwife tells me every year when i go for my exam that i should NOT remove the hair from that area. One because it does prevent infection...including yeast infections, and two because the area is sensitive and covered by hair to keep it that way. I wasnt shaved when my children were born either...and i had 38 stiches with number two...so it can be kept clean without removing hair in my opinion. It's just a matter of personal taste, not a matter of clean or not.

I’d agree there’s very little chance of getting an infection because one shaves. None-the-less the idea that pubic hair helps protect the vagina is not my own but espoused by some authorities, the competence of which I dare not guarantee. Anyone with concerns should ask a doctor they trust and perhaps pursue other sources as well. Anyone who has a history of recurring or even one serious infection should not passively wait for an expert speak up.

I wouldn’t want to make people who decide to shave feel they are doing something unhealthy or wrong because clearly any risks are diminishing small in a society with access to lots of clean water and medications.

I think ‘they’ - many hospitals - shave a woman’s crotch before she gives birth because they treat child birth as a potential health hazard and I suppose the historical numbers bear that out. Shaving and smearing skin with something like Mercurochrome is a procedure in preparation for surgery. If only a small percentage of births required some surgical intervention the hospital might feel negligent not to have prepared for it just in case. In situations where the birth takes place out-side the operating theater, shaving is not so widely practiced.

‘I’m not a doctor, but I play one on TV.’

Good on you, Seduce, if you don’t get dots. I’ve known more than a couple women who do and who find the after effects of shaving intolerable. Are they to feel repulsive or are they to shave anyway as a matter of basic hygiene?

In truth, I have spent many an hour with my nose in pubic hair but I honestly haven’t suffered any of what you describe. Granted, I am gifted with a fine sense of direction and apparently a pubic proof tongue.

For anyone put off by pubic hair please consider that body image can be a hot topic and overlaps at times with culture and societal prejudice. Male circumcision and racial segregation have both been asserted as matters of personal hygiene but the facts haven’t supported those ideas either. Foreskins, skin of various colors and pubic hair all clean up just fine with a little soap, water and rinse.

‘What I like is right!’ In a forum open to all kinds of people, to present any such preference as somehow correct is not only narrow minded but potentially hurtful. Of course feel what you feel but let’s choose words that leave room for other’s feelings.

Now, back to fun...

Amen to that!

shaving/hairless

being male, and slave to my Goddess,..."i" only shave when i HAVE a dominant in my life. so many times in-between dominants i am vanilla so i do not bother..but yes, at the moment, under consideration, and as a sissy slave-slut i am "shaved" from shoulders down..all of it.
of course, i use nair cream.

but as i seen posted here,....i myself luv the air on my hairless skin,,and wearing jeans after being hairless has it's own sensations.

i myself prefer being hairless,,but yeah, in vanilla i get careless and stop caring about it.
esp. since i am celebate and have no sex life since 2001.,,who else would care anyway, right? giggles
'
ok it's my 3 cents

thanks

Exactly!

All those posting can be quoted by old Latin - De Gustibus etc. or (in my humble translation) "One should not discuss tastes".
You would not like me shaved, and I would equally not like you hairy, but since there is no chance we will ever physically meet, all that talk about "I like" and "you like" is just small talk....... or as you put it, for fun.

So lets keep it fun, and of course allow each other our little preferences.

off topic/Seduce..

may i be allowed to say please..and out of respect..

You have a gorgeous figure in that picture.
i am duly impressed.....

thank You

a sissy(now if "i" can ever get a figure like that?)

I went cleanly shaven for years because the men in my life thought it to be nasty and I being the one to always please -- did it like a good girl. Lived through bumps, scratchyness on my panties/jeans, irritation, fussing with creams, 5o'clock shadows (I'm italian.. i can't help it...lol) and prevention techniques.

Then I tried a landing strip, this worked for years. Kept us both happy. And then became a pain in the ass to keep bc I needed to shave around it and keep it even. I wasn't into the freshly plucked chicken look... or feeling like a little Lolita. My partners still liked it, and always complained "if it is just that strip, why not just shave it off, it would please me so... " and so on. But I was older and said, well, if you don't like it you can't have any of me - after all its just hair, I never said anything about their hairy backs. (*big eew*)

Through the years the strip widened a little and all hair is kept under the panties, and kept like a little garden. Nothing near the lips and anywhere that could get stuck in anyone's mouth. Clean, pleasing, no problem right?
No. No matter how neat and clean, and w/o any other reason but asthetic they complained.
By then/now I didn't care what they think and want, I like my little fuzz on my mound, still nothing on the lips or anywhere it would be a terrible bother. Very little irritation, no blood gets in it and most importently I'm happy nor do I look like a plucked chicken or lolita. (though I do the school girl act very well.)

On a bored whim I shaved it all off again to try and go bald a couple years ago, just for a change ... and oi, biggest mistake ever. The bumps, the creams, the patience, the prickly feel of it a few hours/days later, the upkeep .. how raw it feels when anything (including my partner) to rub against it or play with it. Tried it for just enough time where I thought my skin/hair would get used to it again.
But no, my patience wore thin and I said fuck it, I want my little garden back.

Between upkeep and being lazy ... my little patch of hair, has made my current partner and dominant happy, he still complained and has told me to shave it a few times, that he likes the look and the feel much better. And it is insulting to hear such things after all the trouble I've been through with my hair on my pussy, so many stages and compromises.
I told him he can shave his face and pubes and I will shave my pubes ... he didn't like this, he said it was irratiating, and he was the man and wouldn't compromise, so I never had to. I've kept myself neat and clean though.

Saturday that just passed, for a few reasons, but mostly for a suprise for M, I shaved myself bald again.
I feel naked and ugly. The bumps are starting again, the heat, sweat and rubbing is highly irritating me ... I hate it.

As for others or how I would prefer someone?
If the woman I would be with loved shaving and did it on her own and hates hair on her own body then I wouldn't ask her of anything. I would hate to have it scratchy against my smooth mouth and tongue though, so it would have to be kept very very smooth.
But if she prefered not to shave - then it is fine with me, I'd just ask for a trim if she didn't shave around her pussy lips, I don't want to fight for it, but I don't mind moving my hands around and running my fingers through it... or even grabbing (or being grabbed) her mound to bring her closer to me playfully.

For him?
For as far down as I could go on his cock ... if my nose can touch his pubes, a little trim may be requested, but probably unlikely. I too find it funny looking when he has hair on his tummy or legs and then the patch of his genitals are bare ... it makes me laugh.

Just keep clean is all I ask really.

The hair wouldn't be there if it didn't serve a purpose. I really dislike when people think hair or no hair is unclean ... its just hair, and unless you have lice, crabs, cuts, or infection ... you're clean. Germs live all over our bodies, tiny tiny mites are now all over us eating dead skin... to be paranoid about a little hair is silly.
And Doctors shave women during pregnancies because they treat childbirth like a potential hazzard ... its the good AND bad thing about hospital births - they are ready for everything, but they dehumanize birthing and take many unnessicary procautions - but I digress, there has been many threads about all this talk.
