This is what I'm eating at this very moment. It's got mandarin orange pieces in it, and it's yummy. I recommend it without any hesitation. What's everyone else munching?

Oh G-d. Have you tried the Hazelnut Gelato? I swear I came in my panties on the first bite. No really!

If you can find it, try their chocolate sorbet. It's excellent.

I'll try it next time, per your suggestion. I usually only go for fruit flavors, because that is what my cat prefers (raspberry is her favorite) but maybe she'd be willing to get adventurous with the chocolate. It does sound yummy.

Liar. You don't wear panties.

*sobs* you swore you'd never tell!! *weeps copiously*

But seriously. You know me, RR...do I ever lie about food? LOL

Another hard to find flavor that's worth the search is Ben and Jerry's Lemon Twist Sorbet. Pucker up for some sour goodness!

Before the animal-lovers among us get into a tizzy-- yes, I know chocolate is poisonous to cats, and no, I won't be sharing with Lizella. I'll get her some of her own raspberry so she won't feel left out.

I love ben & jerry's passionfruit (and something else I can't remember) sorbet. Very yummy and purple swirled, so it's also very pretty.

While we're on this subject - how many servings do you get out of your pint? To my mind this is packaged in single serving portions to be eaten slightly softened with a spoon directly from its handy carton, but on the container there is an insistent reminder that it is meant to feed four.

Not if you're eating it with my mouth.

Commonly I consider a pint to be two servings. It's enough to eat half and save half for later, although I rarely do that.

I had some Ben and Jerry's Pistachio tonight, and it was really good.

In the shell sunflower seeds. It goes slowly so that I'm not actually eating that much but my "munch" craving is satisfied.

I eat it a few spoonfuls at a time over the course of two days or so. I have no idea what serving size that amounts to, because I consume the whole thing, just over the course of a very long time. That's why I eat sorbet (aside from the fact that I really love the stuff) because a pint of ben-and-jerry's has around 60-80 grams of fat in it. If I didn't have a heart attack from the fat in it, I might from reading the label mid-snack. Sometimes I don't care, though, and go for Wavy Gravy or Phish Food or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. PMS days generally call for major chocolatey goodness. I certainly don't quibble over fat grams then, either.

Ooh, I have to try that! I love pistachio pudding (yeah, I know I'm weird) so I bet I'd love pistachio ice cream. Is it that sickly green color? I love that color.

Do you go for the salted variety or the unsalted? I prefer the salty ones, myself.

Just had a chicken salad sandwich.

I recomend the Zesty Lemon sorbet from Haagen Daz

yum.

I love the zesty lemon.

Edy's also makes some nice sorbets. The raspberry is wonderful (and a feline favorite) but I love the strawberry because it has seeds and berry bits in it. I wish I could find a good pineapple sorbet, though. That sounds good right now.

In an orange and yellow mug?

Straight outta the carton, baby! I was putting on my civilized visitin' manners for you. I put my frozen stuff in a mug when I'm at someone else's house, but when i'm home, I go bare bones. I don't have a clean dish or cup in my house. I had to wash a spoon to eat this.

Although, I would love to have an orange and yellow mug to eat my sorbet out of. It would make it a festive occasion. A party even! Well, maybe not, but it would remind me of you, and that would make me smile.

Don't tempt me to use an emoticon.

I won't do it.

With an umlaut. It's the dot-dot over the first A in the name Haagen-Dazs. I don't know what combo of keys to peck to make an umlaut appear on my screen, so I thought I should just spell it out. It's one of my favorite words. Pronounced Oom-lout. Or Oom-laut. I go with the former. But I frequently hear the latter. Personal preference, I'd guess.
