Badguy I share CrashD's concerns! Any sort of non-stretchable ring on shaft only is seriously risky in my book. I know some guys do it, but please be really careful. Metal around the whole of your junk, which is therefore a much larger diameter and only indirectly restricting on shaft blood vessels is a totally less challenging experience to metal on your shaft before you swell up.

Jays, is this a shaft-only type ring? I have very little experience of those so I don't know if they might cause early ejac. I have, and will. Trying to stay away from things that pull hair. I had bought a neoprene something or other--not sure what its real purpose is for, maybe some sort of gasket or washer. Anyway, ID of it approximately right, but slightly too large, and the material itself slightly too spongey, not enough restriction.

I'll keep looking. I haven't found an independent hardware store around here-- just the Lowe's & Home Depot variety.

I can report back that I got full mast with the key ring on, more as a glans ring than at the base. I think at the base it was restricting blood flow too much to get it all the way up. But the part where you have to pull up the end to get a key on it, did not pinch.
Admittedly, I just wanted to get one rubbed out quickie just as a test run, so I did not go for a longer edging session. But this might tide me over for awhile.
