Forgive me being blunt, but for one thing, what does this have to do with story feedback? (Much like the pubic hair polls, admittedly. ).

For another, your question comes across as a very young and naive statement.

A lot of men have a somewhat vanilla approach to sex, and like their partners to be neither submissive nor Dominant.

When it comes to those into the D/s scene, it's probably about a 50/50 split, although submissive men are probably more latent in how vocal they are about their sexuality. Dominant men tend to be much more outspoken, which is to be expected!

Then there are many who are switches; they like to try both sides, on occasion.

I think you are very wrong in your assumption that most women (girls, as you put it) are sexually submissive. Yes, there are many that are, but not most, by any means. The vast majority of women are very vanilla in their approach to sex. Just as most men are.

You have to remember that you are asking these questions on what is, essentially, a porn site, so the results are going to be rather skewed, in comparison to the general populace.

I, for example, am incredibly submissive, and I willingly submit to my Dom regularly, but even I have a switch side. I don't feel completely comfortable being Domme - I have to force it, but I know that even the most Dominant of men can have fantasies about being Dominated.

D/s, and the whole of BDSM is very complex, and cannot be "researched" in this kind of poll.

Have you tried paying a visit to the BDSM boards? Believe me, if you started up the same poll there, you would get some very "interesting" responses.

How do you like it?

I don't know if I'd describe it as dominant exactly, but my biggest turn-on is when a woman really makes it clear that she want you desperately. I don't want her ordering me to do things.
