Though I obviously don't know what takes place in the story, I love the idea of the woman being the "ex" but still having a hold over him. And in a shameless act of self promotion, I'm looking for a coauthor (or even just someone to urge me along with comments on the story) for one or more "evil ex wife" stories my heart is aching to write but my brain is telling me I could use some help.

Most LIT authors started out as non-writers. So write a story; start with a basic framework and flesh it out till it looks good to you, like slapping clay on an armature for a sculpted piece. Then go to the Author's Hangout of Editor's forums here and request beta-readers. Have fun!
