well the problem is that there are alot of bicyclists out there that think they own the road (no offense) ....what alot of bikers don't understand is that they're subject to just the same traffic laws that I am when I drive in my car....I can't even begin to count the amount of times I've just about hit a bicyclist cause they feel its ok to roll through a light when I have the right of way - but I guess they'll learn when they become the hood ornament on a Mack truck....

The thing is, running the light is safer than waiting 90% of the time, as long as you are careful to watch--I've been nearly hit many, many times when the light turns from red to green, b/c I can bike the limit, but I can't at all accelerate as quickly as a car.

and I know the speed is gonna be different, but the bikers that get me are the ones that think they're lance armstrong and can go anywhere and everywhere without a concern.....yeah it's great lance won 7 times but it kicked in the ego of alot of these guys who want to try and be like him
