They aren't hiding only from you, they are hiding from everyone. They hide behind anonymous profiles and avatars, they hide behind banal chatter and meaningless platitudes. They'd rather chat you up for a good cyber wank than get to know you as a person.

The real people are few and far between. Even fewer are those of us who are out and proud of it, active in our local BDSM and Leather communities, reaching out to those who wish to find something more than empty, online, cyber-fantasy fluff.
