There are approximately 300,000,000 guns in the United States. Three Hundred Million!!! Yet, there are 323,000,000 people. Three Hundred Twenty-Three Million!

That means there are 23,000,000 people who don't have guns. How can we make this right? Let's find out who these gunless people are. Maybe they should all be deported!

A Little More Info

There are 74,000,000 Americans under the age of 18. That leaves 249 million Americans who have guns.
That's 1.2 guns per person. Statistics have shown that 3% of the people, approximately 10 million people, own 50%, that's half for those who can't figure out percentage, the guns in the U.S. Well, that's 30 guns per person.

Now, personally, I look at this like how many homes you could own. If you had multiple homes, we can assume that you had at least one toilet in each home. The question, then, becomes obvious. How many shits can you take at one time?

You have two hands. Can you shoot more than two weapons at any time? So the figure of 1.2 guns per person is not unreasonable. But the person that has 20 or 30 guns, what's the motivation? Are THEY coming? And for you, who are THEY?

I don't think the founding fathers would have a problem with a farmer owning more than one musket. But then, after you've fired all your single-shot muskets, who is going to stop the Injun from scalping you?

I own a dozen firearms. A .22 rifle my father gave me when I was young, and a .20 gauge shotgun I learned to hunt ducks with. I bought 2 pistols in my life and a 30-06 rifle for hunting. When my father passed I inherited his shotguns and rifles and his old revolver. Do you really have a problem with this? Why do I "need" so many? Many serve different purposes, ie hunting birds as opposed to small game as opposed to large game. Some are for self defense. And some are just collectibles that I keep for the memories of my father. I do own a semi-automatic rifle, but so what. I have no desire to point a weapon another person, let alone harm anyone. I am no more a threat to society than a completely unarmed person.

Obama set the precedent for government enforcement of citizens having to buy something they neither feel they want nor need. So it shouldn't come as a complete surprise when the Trump administration amends Obamacare to require every citizen to buy and carry a handgun, to protect their life and health. Neglecting to do so should carry the weight of an IRS fine. We've probably got at least three more conservative judges to seat on the SCOTUS of the mindset of Justice Scalia.

Take a Punt

I inherited a Punt Gun which has not been fired for many years. Loaded with the right stuff it could probably wipe out the entire management team of the NRA. It is basically about a 2 Guage cannon.

Unlikely to happen tho' because it's in storage 10,000 miles away.
